Is it possible to turn the plastic diffuser 180 degrees so it's using the good edge (not melted) seems the same when I looked at it. Will the light be dimmer?

Question . My edge light led melted a little bit of the thick diffuser panel which sits close to them. After replacing the strips I noticed a bit of light scatter around the bottom edge. I think it's because the led had made a little melt mark on the edge of the panel. Would it be OK to sand that edge with a fine sandpaper to bring a smooth finish back again? The panel is not the easiest thing to find anywhere used online. Any advice welcomed. 👍

thanks for the video. My 43 inch samsung did the same thing but worse. Can I just flip around the light diffuser with the melted area toward the top? Has anyone tried this yet?

Sir, if the white screen is little bit damaged (crack) and slightly visible in tv screen....but is there any relation between the backlight and the white screen for tv screen to blackened??
Yes . If the screen has any kind of damage it will be worse in the future.. then it becomes black no picture.

I changed my backlight it was working, after one week backlight dont come on, when I toched the connector of wire that connects power board with mother board backlight come on and works for 1h after that they work dimed barely see the screen, anyone nows?

Ask lng idol f normal ba na 213 volts ang out ng backlight driver ng samsung 48 inches ko napundi kc lahat ng backlight nya sabay,out of 32 beads 8 nlng ang hindi napundi,sinukat ko out umaabot ng 213 volts,normal po ba salamat sa sagot
Check NYO po sa filter cap sa supply Ng backlight Po ilang volts, then check sa LED type 6v or 3v ba Yan Po.
3volts lng po ang led beads nya

Replaced backluhhts and now its worse. Bright hot spota at bottom of screen and huge dark spot in the center

I am getting ready to repair my backlight issue. This video has too many issues where the speaker would skip over difficult issues and not handle those issues correctly. For example, remove some frame pieces to get to the old LED strips. He did not show how to remove the power switch module. Some parts disappeared without explanation☹. He was difficult to understand several times because English is not his first language.
He didn't post to educate you on the whole process. If you want to do it, why don't you discover?
