Option x ~ Aang is half spirit through Raava, so in the Avatar State (The Glow! ~ in Roku’s voice) his blood can’t be bent since Spirits don’t have blood 🩸🤷🏾♂️. Same would apply to any spirit or human-spirit hybrid.

She came up with the technic but this doesn't mean there wasn't anyone before her. People could have invented blood bending and died without teaching anyone. It is said that blood bending is a rare ability so probably most water benders are unable to learn it even with proper training. This technic could have been invented and forgotten 100 times.

It’s like metal bending, you have to focus on the the water within the blood because it’s not 100%. This makes it difficult to most average benders. Something else to consider is that not everyone had the instruction or knowledge that blood is mostly water considering avatar is based in a more primitive world. So if you put in mind the amount of knowledge people of this time had, and the concentration/skill focusing on the water within one’s blood, it seems quite difficult.
Yes but no it is technically a rare technique that needs taught there may be another blood bender in the future who knows but it's unlikely because it takes a lot of practice and you only have 1 day a month to practice the full moon katara and yakons sons are the only blood benders rn and yakons kids and him are dead they can't pass it on and katara knows bloodbending is too powerful and doesent plan on teaching it or speaking about it or doing it yes any water bender can do it but it would take way too long to learn about it bc they wouldn't even know they can only blood bend only on full moon because they removed all history of blood bend to try and stop anyone from knowing about it
