not using clean tips for each tube at dilution step is a cause for false positives. also, patients with cold agglutinins often have abnormal gammaglobulins; it is advised to wash at least two to three times the patient cells.

I love this, but I antigens are found on ALL adult RBC, right? Why does it matter if you use patient cells or O cells?
So ?? What’s next?? Patient on need for blood tx . This procedure will not help at all 😅
