    To be honest,I felt the actual taste of our kashmiri language while listening this song and one them is interpreting the lyrics...true kashmiris-kashmiri pandits....love u all our brothers.... very impressive!!!!!!

    U guys r awesome please come back to Kashmir ,I felt like crying ,please come back so a beautiful family,I wish I could do a bit a jam with u guys ,Kashmir without kashmiri pandits is half beutiful,please complete it ,u know what's going on in kashmir DNT u think ur land needs u,forget what has happened in past ,don't come fr people come for the mother land please ,can't write more chocking like anything ,just wanna say love u alot nd miss u ..........

    Thanks Mudasir for clarifying. It is revelation that the very original lyrics by Habba Khotoon are like that. That speaks a lot about our secular heritage. Also, if you let me know contact number, you can certainly be welcome addition to such mehfil in future.

    You need to be lucky enough to be part of such soulful mehfils.
    I would, however, like to point out that it is not the Pandits who fixated this imagery of Harmukh, but it is the lyricist, Habba Khatoon, deeply conscious of her roots, using the parable of Parvati waiting at the foot of Harmukh for Shiva, still grieving for Sati, as a metaphor to express her love for beloved.
