Stuart you’re doing great and I like your real world perspective and experience too
Thanks Mike. Have a great weekend man.
The guy keeps it interesting and is unique.
Most of my fragrances don't perform well on my skin, so I apply them to clothing more often than not. I feel like I'm an outlier among fragrance enthusiasts in that regard. It's nice to hear that you see the merit of the fragrance-on-clothing approach.
For sure. One of the best complements I ever got, (it was from a superior at work) was due to a Fragrance that she could smell on my winter coat & not from anything I was wearing that day. Spraying on clothes is a must for me now.
Stop buying cheapies. Invest in quality when you can. You get what you pay for.
I also apply on clothing, always...I see no use on the skin...
Encre Noire L'Extreme is not only challenging luxury but beast mode. I only need one spray and I'm good to go.
Gucci absolute has to be my favorite masculine fragrance.
Mine too. Wish there was a good clone available
It's a masterpiece & the DNA was copied almost immediately by two niche houses after its release.
I recently purchased Perry Ellis Blue and Red. Since I'm into gourmand, the hunt for Perry Ellis Midnight is on. Thanks!
If you like gourmands you'll love it. Have a great weekend.
Riding the wave of you putting out banger videos! Great information with equal parts of entertainment. Keep em coming!!! Cheers!
Thanks Tim. Cheers.
I have a Perry Ellis in a blue bottle. Barbershop style scent, I enjoy it very much.
Also a special thank you. Work uniform service so don’t make big bucks but like a good cologne
I hear that man. I make do with what I have (it's not much), but collecting can be done if people are careful with their purchases. Peace out Mike.
@@ScentsofStyle99 thank you you too and hope weather is decent for you. You are correct and appreciate your guidance as you know your stuff
Still liking your vibe👊🏻i love the MB club black!
Thanks man. Club Black is king.
I have Alpha...super smokey... 👌👌👌
Would love to try the Lalique...been meaning to do so for eons...
Club Black is a dream of mine but cannot find it...urgh!
F Black had its hype days...must still be great.
Never tried any Bijan...brand was all the hype for me in the 2,000s...not mentioned much in fragcom these days.
You can't find club black? Are you in Europe?
Bjian is absolutely great, I got a full size bottle for about $15.00.
Good video! Thanks for going into detail about.
Cool video dude 😎
Duuuuuuuuuuuude. Nice to hear from you Adrian. Glad you liked it
I went through the same road with Encre Noire, and have to agree A Lextreme is the most wearable of the three. Jeremy hyped F black so much that I bought it... Still have some issues with it, sometimes love it sometimes hate it, I think my skin chemistry doesn't interact well with it. Great content as always!
Thank you. I loved vintage Jeremy. I hope he figures things out & comes back because the entertainment value was epic. Peace out.
I remember the ads in the 80’s for Bijan. It was always touted as a top shelf fragrance. I don’t remember the price, but it was much more than $6.
What happens to the older Fragrances is they go out of style, they get put in cheaper bottles and the prices drop. Sometimes they water them down too but they didn't seem to do too much of that with Bijan because it's still strong. But I have no doubt it was an expensive Fragrance back in the day.
Stuart, you pulling out the oldschool ballsy powerhouse masculine frags with Aramis Havana & Bijan. I do like both, and have a good bit from Aramis house (Aramis, Aramis Special Blend, Tobacco Reserve, Aramis Havana & JHL)
I think of the movie Cliffhanger when I smell Bijan, because this was rumored to be Silvester Stallone's signature fragrance in the late 80's/early 90's....
If you'd like a more refined dressed up version of F Black (which I had in my early days of collecting) with an added peach note, get your hands on Chanel Allure Homme (O.G. from 1999) Love your reviews! 😎
I love Bijan more than I should. Man it's strong so I'm not surprised Stallone wore it. That's a great bit of trivia. Will use it for sure.
FBlack is indeed underrated. It is a cheapie but smells really good, though slightly synthetic, just slightly. It performs well despite being an eau de toilette and is a sure 'vang for your buck' perfume.
I would NEVER have bought it if it wasn't for Jeremy but it was a hell of a recommendation for the price & I like the powderiness.
I've never smelled Aramis but I respect that it has endured to this day.
Did you ever watch Cheers? Ted Danson who played Sam Malone was an Aramis man in the 1970s.
I like really woody scents but the issue for me is that most tend to smell similar. I also don't wear the woodies often. The been Fume, which I traded, smelled to me like a lot other woodies which is kind of like being in a lumber yard. For this reason I don't need many of them and for the price I paid for the Tom Ford I preferred to trade it for another niche that smelled more unique and not just another nice woodie.
I do the same thing with my niche & discontinued gems. I trade them for less expensive stuff so I can have more variety. I'm just getting into woody Fragrances lately so I'm learning as I go but I adore Alpha (ebene fume clone) & especially the $35 price tag.
Re: Encre Noire Sport by Lalique, I get a lot of vetiver from it and that is a note that is sort of an acquired taste.
Lalique's website description includes ...
"At its heart, the coolness of aquatic notes enhanced by nutmeg emphasises the Bourbon and Haitian Vetyver."
This one got me to acquire a liking for the vetiver note. First wearing was like "Oh!", now it is like "Ahhh!".
Also, the bottle size, aesthetics and sprayer are really good for the price.
Same. I hated all vetiver for the 1st couple of years - even Terre d'Hermes. Now I love it.
I like all the Encore Niors except the intense version. My wife says it smells like old man. Ha
Most of Sergio Tacchini fragrances are great. Uomo isn't an exception.
You get one guess as to why I purchased a Sergio Tacchini fragrance. You have talked about them quite a bit and you're probably the only one who has. When I saw it I bought it only because you have mentioned them in the past. Your taste is the same as mine man.
Thanks man
Ferragamo Uomo Signature is my best cheapie masculine. Can honestly say I have gotten compliments from the opposite sex with this one 😂
