    80% of men in America don't wear fragrance on a daily basis, so you're already ahead by wearing one everyday. I have over 100 bottles but I always enjoy seeing other people's thoughts on fragrances. They're fun to talk about. I'm really enjoying the channel so far! Keep up the good work.

    Awesome video guys! As a young man constantly trying to grow and mature, watches and fragrances have really piqued my interest. Given that, I’m so happy to have come across Teddy’s watch channel and this one; the level of detail, passion, and quality you both embed into your videos is remarkable. This is why I dont fret over what the frag community calls "overrated" or "overplayed". I have one other person I know who is into fragrances at all..and when I'm out..people aren't wearing anything. You can throw on a Nautica Voyage or an F-Black and it will be more unique than what 90% of people ever experience. I had a woman approach me in a supermarket isle demanding to know what I was wearing and it was just plain ol' Montblanc Legend EDP

    Thanks a lot. Your watch channel already had me spending money. And now you got me buying cologne for the first time in years too with this channel. 😄 Seriously though, I just got a bottle of jazz club. Based on your recent video. And that stuff is really nice. Smells great. And it's subtle. People aren't smelling it from 20 feet away. The fact you can tell most people who are wearing cologne from a mile away was what has kept me from ever using it. Just because I always found overpowering cologne obnoxious. And didn't want to be that guy. So, thanks to both of you. Having both your opinions is extremely helpful in deciding what to buy.

    My husband fixes the opening of Club de nuit Intense man by layering with two shots of Nishane Hacivat. Makes it smell a lot more like the original Aventus. And trust me it's not just a warm weather scent this stuff is very strong and cuts through cold very easily. Definitely recommend for guys who don't like wearing sweet scents in winter. Also if you like Mont Blanc Legend please try Parfum de Marly Percival it is a niche version of Legend and performance is at least 10 times better.

    Ferragamo F Black is actually a really good fragrance. Whilst I do not care much for external validation from anyone I actually had a person come up to me in a supermarket and say to me, when I was wearing that, you look fantastic and you smell absolutely gorgeous I have had a number of similar experiences wearing F Black. Weird as its one of the cheapest I own. So I don't think its just the cost of a fragrance that's important.

    • @louiscarrillo6670
      @louiscarrillo6670 Год назад +2

      agreed. dont forget. its cheap because they dont do marketing for it. It was created by Chanels best master parfumer. this is a high quality that reminds me of Chanel Homme the original. if you smell that this is a revelation. the composition is of extremely high quality. so its only cheaper now because its been around for so long. great house and this has staying power.

    F is a classic office fragrance imo, it might be dated in the blue world, but it definitely is the best bang for your buck in terms of a good smelling fragrance that’s smells classy. I wish you would of gave it a dry down rate. The monte blanc is a solid crowd pleaser, women do seem to love it and it’s cause the fierce dna was a classic hit.

    I have CDNIM Edt. The initial spray is strong, but after 10 min your good to go. It settles down nicely during the first hour, the drydown is amazing, if you go nose blind don't worry, others will still smell it. It happens to me all the time, and I get compliments even after 7 hours on my skin. But.... The trick is to only spray it on the back of your neck just once. Trust me!

    I love how Teddy tries to sell Burberry Touch as another safe option whereas Courtney is just straight out nope at the first whiff. She then goes on to be accommodating to the fragrance, as to not disparage its fans, but its fate remains as sealed as it ever was. I like vetiver, Courtney so obviously does not. It's such a good reminder that different people have different tastes and most people won't ever make much of a big fuss about it. They just try to distance themselves. Like how Courtney places the tester strip on the table, as far away as possible, right after saying nope.

    I got the Armaf edt and really liked the dry down but found the performance was very weak, faded significantly after 3-4 hours. Does anyone know if the performance is a lot better in the parfum version?

      You're probably going nose blind to it, but EDP is way better if you can get it. Opening is a bit more pleasant, lasts a lot longer than EDT. For me, the EDT lasts 5-6 hours but EDP is still there after 8+ hours.
      Also, try letting your EDT macerate. Use it a bit to let some air in, then leave it in a dark place for a 3-4 weeks. The performance and smell should improve. The performance also depends on the skin, perfumes typically perform worse on dry skin.

    Also, several of the frequencies that you tried are very different in the opening and in the dry down. In some of your blind group videos, you have a fresh strip and a dry down strip. I think if you use that format for videos like this it would be more helpful to your viewers. This isn't just you, I'd say 80% of the fragrance reviews that I read are of people smelling a strip that's just been sprayed, and it doesn't really convey the fragrance as a whole, since most of the duration is spent during Dryden

    I'm going to be totally honest here; when I heard you made a channel about fragrances, I thought it was kind of funny. Then again, largest hobby is mechanical keyboards, so who am I to judge. I'm actually in the market for a new fragrance, so I'll be watching. Who knows, perhaps I'll fall into the rabbit hole.

      As a gun guy, watch collector and PC geek. I never thought I would be into fragrances as much as I am now. It's a fun hobby and cheaper then the aforementioned hobbies. Also different scents put you in different moods and mindsets. It's quite the experience to treat your nose to an array of different scents. Don't be afraid to dive in.

    I agree with your statistics on how majority of people don't wear fragrance. So if you wear one then you are in the top ten...however I will also say that is a very broad and generic statistic.
    If you are in New York city, in a club on a Saturday night then I would imagine there will be a much larger percentage of people wearing a fragrance. Any city is going to have a much larger percentage of people wearing a fragrance compared to middle American rural areas. Percentage of people wearing a fragrance is largely based on time, place and age range.
