There's this piercing, spicey, "bite" to this fragrance that I really enjoy. This is one of my favorite fragrances for fall, winter, early spring. 3-4 sprays of this last all day.
Appreciate you sharing your thoughts. And yes there is that "bite" quality making this fragrance an acquired taste. Some people will not like this one at all because of that pepper accord.
I just ordered this one and got it today. I’m impressed! Very potent and long lasting. It’s concentrated that after I took a shower, I can still smell it on my skin. Awesome quality and a steal for its price.

Good review, man. Yeah It was created by Olivier Polge and I think you can tell. Price point aside, I too really like this frag. I dress business professional to work and always on the go. Perfect for quick interactions with people that offers a fresh, clean somewhat sweet scent (maybe the apple?) with a nice smooth peppery lavender. Not looking for compliments because at work I certainly have other stuff on my mind but this is a great dumb reach for me in a crisp New York winter. Maybe resembles a much fresher la Nuit de L’Homme or even a Sauvage vibe going but yeah, good stuff, doesn’t really smell cheap and it’s good to see you still like it as well. Cheers!
I judge and wear fragrances according to my nose and personal taste, if I have the money to spoil my nose I certainly will but if not I do as the great wizard Gandalf once said "when in doubt always follow your nose"!
I just bought this at TJ Max for $20 and it’s a steal at that price. I pretty much agree with your review except the labdanum is at the very end but admittedly barely noticeable except up close. I’ve watched several reviews that claim the pepper is strong in this. I agree, but it dissipates pretty quickly and I like the way it “pushes” this fragrance out to those around you. Very similar to the effect the Ambroxan has in Sauvage. Potent ...yes. Watch how much you spray on, 4-5 sprays Max is sufficient. Wear it in the fall, winter, and early spring anytime, anywhere. BTW, my wife likes it too!
I have this one but i don't like it. there is a weird note in it to my nose. but it is in the drawer i will get back to it later and do a reassement in different seasons
This is one of my fragrances that I wear in office. I am mechanical engineer and I have at least one ore two business meeting every week. I get a lot of compliments for F black. Btw, sorry for my bad english, this is my third language.

I haven't smelled it myself but I just looked it up (I've seen the one you're referring to) but wasn't sure and it seems its the spring version than the F Black. People are saying it smells like it.
I blind bought this a couple of years ago and I have mixed feelings about it. Right off the bat I will say I already went through all 3.4 ounces but I will not rebuy. I just don't like how it smells but its longevity and projection are way beyond average. The opening is unpleasant and it just smells like a bunch of chemicals mixed up with nothing really standing out in a pleasant way. The dry down is better but it just keeps smelling like a mix of stuff not really going anywhere.
Blind buyers beware, I believed the hype until I sampled it today and found out for me it smells EXACTLY like Dove white soap, which I always found a little grandma-ey. I didn´t liked it at all, I had to wash my wrist after 3 hours cause I couldn't stand it.

Wanted By Night has a sweet component, this one doesn't minus the fruit accord. Wanted By Night is sexy and playful. The Ferragamo is classy and grown.

Cool story about Jeremy. F Black was not my first cologne, but was my first purchase toward becoming a frag head. Though I find this as an overpowering lavender and powder bomb, i cant bring myself to let it go! I agree with you Chad, it would be much better toned down.
hörbuch Nation because he probably has well over 350 frags. Try adding one frag a year to your rotation. He also said he doesn’t reach for it that much.

@@tomrome1022 Generally I try to wear a bottle for a week and a sample whenever it lasts. I generally wear 2 fragrances at the same time, one around my neck, chest, and forearm and the other scent would be on the other forearm. I'd be testing both out for future videos but I'll be slowing down on testing as I have too many videos in queue and I can relax a bit.
If you're younger than 25, I would choose this one. They're very different. Bentley Intense doesn't have mass appeal... but, it would be the easy choice for anyone with a more educated nose. If you have a smart nose, choose this... if your trying to get complimented by women, get the F Black... if you're trying to get complimented by younger girls... get the F Pour Homme
Question for everyone: do “seasonal” fragrances apply to southern california? I mean some days in the dead of winter down here the temp can still be high 70s maybe even 80s at time. What do yall think? 🤔
If you think you can wear this in the warmer Cali weather then by all means do so but try one spray and if its nothing for you then move to 2 but this is a banger. I have a friend in Florida who will wear heavy out scents in the hot Miami weather but he will go much lighter with his applications.

This is a great week rotation scent, you can buy allot worst than this for a lot more money. For the price the smell and the longevity can't get anything better .this is a grown-up scent not for teens.
I personally think its a little more mature BUT you can perhaps get away with it. The young girls might think you smell a little too old though. I know the young ladies prefer clean, fresh, and sweeter but if you're a young man who is more wise and more mature than your age you'll be alright.

I literally just picked this up a few days ago as a blind buy. I absolutely adore the opening of this scent and yes I agree that that pepper was tone down just slightly and the sweetness lingered on a little longer this would be a perfect scent. Oh and to my nose and maybe this only my nose this scent reminds me of black ice car freshner lol

Regret the blind buy immediatley. Bought it a few months back based on Jeremy's recommendation. You get that Baby or Wet Wipe smell. This destroys the entire scent for me. Sorry but Ferragamo F black is not blind buy worthy!

I would say yes. Usually I am looking at the ingredients this makes it way easier for me to pick a blind buy. But to be honest I usually do not purchase niche frags over 180-200$ without checking them out before. Its to risky to loose a lot of money :) But I have one exeption, PdM is nearly safe in the most cases like Layton(Exclusif) or Harod really good quality for the money. Love that House

I like this shyt foo, definitely get that pepper and the lavender absolute in the opening, that tonka comes through in the middle to the dry down. I got this at I believe fragrancex so it is legit I just don't see how it is strong or projects that long I sprayed it and less than couple hours in and I did not really smell it it smells great very sophisticated or mature smell but you would have to get very close to smell it as well as reapply unless I got a bad batch...
I'd say its more skin chemistry than anything. Mine might be better than yours when it comes to this scent and yours might be better than mine on others.

For me the pearl on Ferragamo isnt that one, but the first F by Ferragamo, i didnt appreciate the FBlack,😉but is famous in the Fragrance World

I accidently bought the red text F by Ferragamo. Is it the same fragrance or not ? Couldn't find any reviews on it.

Ferragamo Uomo and the Uomo Signature are good options. Azzaro Wanted by Night is another very solid option.

Has anyone tried Bentley for men Intense and can tell me if that one or F Black is the better fragrance? 🤔
I prefer the Ferragamo but I'd say the Bentley is more classier and masculine. Smells more rich.

You can wear it whenever you like, but for me anything over 75 degrees...I’m not wearing it. It’s too much.

I think its way more suited for the cold as it might be a little too much for the summer time. If you were it then try one spray and see how you feel.

If you want something that's rather economical and versatile I'd recommend Montblanc Individuel, Joop Homme Wild, and/or Zegna Forte.

Never sampled the men's fragrances from this house but I tried a womans offering & the pepper was to strong food my personal taste

What’s a good high school affordable fragrance
Warmer weather I'd say Jaguar Pace and for colder seasons Joop Homme or even Jaguar Excellence which is a sweet bomb itself.

F Pour Homme is better in my opinion. But it's still alright if you are a fan of Salvatore Ferragamo! One of my favorite houses.

Regret the blind buy immediatley. Bought it a few months back based on Jeremy's recommendation. You get that Baby or Wet Wipe smell. This destroys the entire scent for me. Sorry but Ferragamo F black is not blind buy worthy!
Oh well. Blind buying is ALWAYS a gamble for sure. Most of my collection is blind buys just so I can review fragrances that are different.

I would say yes. Usually I am looking at the ingredients this makes it way easier for me to pick a blind buy. But to be honest I usually do not purchase niche frags over 180-200$ without checking them out before. Its to risky to loose a lot of money :) But I have one exeption, PdM is nearly safe in the most cases like Layton(Exclusif) or Harod really good quality for the money. Love that House

This is an Olivier Polge concoction. I think that alone is worth its price.

I like this shyt foo, definitely get that pepper and the lavender absolute in the opening, that tonka comes through in the middle to the dry down. Just got it today, feeling overwhelmed by the smell. Too synthetic it makes my head dizzy immediately like it punches you in the face like literally.

It is not for everyone I'll admit.
I got this at I believe fragrancex so it is legit I just don't see how it is strong or projects that long I sprayed it and less than couple hours in and I did not really smell it it smells great very sophisticated or mature smell but you would have to get very close to smell it as well as reapply unless I got a bad batch...
I'd say its more skin chemistry than anything. Mine might be better than yours when it comes to this scent and yours might be better than mine on others.
