Oh my, Donny singing Weekend in New England brings a whole new feel to the song. Beautiful! And it was so fun to hear Barry sing Bandstand! Thank you so much Dave for once again sharing these wonderful memories. I only got to attend their talk show a couple of times and it was so much fun. I wish I had been there when Barry was there.
Hello Kathleen, how're you doing, Your comment caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you. Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you!❤️
I just saw Barry Manilow at Westgate Resorts in Las Vegas THE BEST SHOW IVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE 52yr a on this earth 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I now gotta see Donnie at HARRAHS as soon as possible…💯
I was waiting on this one. I knew that the guy who writes the songs was on the D&M talk show. I didn't know that the world's oldest teenager got down to the American Bandstand theme song. Thanks for reuploading this musical trip in time, Dave. Have a this one's for you Tuesday and stay on the Bandstand. In the words of the late great Dick Clark, "so long"...🖥🎹💟💜🎶🗓🆕️🇬🇧☝️4️⃣🐑💁♀️🇺🇲🎷🎺🕺💃💃🏼
These songs with Donny, Marie and Barry are really great together. They are really good, Love you all and of course Barry, you are just wonderful and Mandy is what really started going up the charts. You a GEEK? I don't think you could ever be that unless it was when you were ten years old. Loved this whole thing~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Betsy Blue-Eyes
Did NOT expect Mr. Dick Clark to appear to be the show producer on this one! How cool is this episode? So much clean, wholesome fun! BTW, Marie mentions Barry writing so many incredible songs. Most of hits were written by others (i.e. "Mandy" was a cover of Scott English's "Brandy"). Barry did write the incredible "Bandstand Boogie", "Could It Be Magic" and others, but not all his hits.
Dave, when they were singing Bandstand together at the end, it gave me chills. These were my favorite segments on their tv show. As a child of the seventies, these three WERE my childhood. Thanks for posting.
