Great video! If anything, this is a testament to the reliability of the V10! A few years down the road picking up an R8 seems like it wouldn't kill me maintenance wise... at least for a VW/Audi. Subbed
Hi Roger! Very good video, truly enjoyed the break down. I am a Mercedes guy and currently have the 2017 E300 and love it as my daily driver. Look forward to your other videos. Cheers!
Did you really sell the car now? I don't think you lost any value given how much car appreciated especially on the high end ones. Curious to know if you made money from selling it if you did
@RogerCui sounds like you kept the car but i don't blame you. I don't think I can be parted with the car as long as its still runs even if the price is great
I was going to say before you mentioned that you were financing the car, that you must be a millionaire if you'd bought a 90k car in cash. Maybe one day I could own this when I am a multi-millionaire.
hmm I don’t think I said that. I’m well off but not a millionaire yet. If the car is a reasonable portion of your net worth you can afford it. Most people buy a car that costs more than their net worth.
Hey man my rent is 2,200 a month and I drive 2019 infinity q50 I have 12,000 left to pay really respect ur grind I’m 19 btw I also have 56,000$ usd saved up and I live by myself also have 6,200 Cuban and 31,000$ bust down AP but I sold drugs to get where I am but keep it up you’ll blow up one day
125 per month on insurance, I pay 160 for a 2015 Volvo s60 t5 premier. Honestly it doesn't sound that different than to what I am paying at the moment. Maintenance is only 800 bucks more.
I have owned my V10 for 3.5 years. Love it but just wait until you have to put a clutch in for all models up to 2015, I believe. The Rtronic style transmission. ($14,000). A/C compressor ($2,800), brakes ($1,800 per front), mag rides had to put coil overs ($2,800 did them myself) I could go on….

Yep they’ve already hit the bottom in depreciation you’re safe buying one
any particular version from the 2008-2010 era you would recommend/avoid?

I bought it for 85k 4 years ago. Now market price is ~75k since I added 17k miles to the car.

Thank you for sharing
what about the actual monthly payment for the car itself?

So lucky you got your audi r8 at a young age
Any additional planned modifications?
Looking into getting an exhaust... still undecided cuz it’s expensive as hell

Yup not bad at all. It’s an affordable supercar :)

How many miles did you have to replace clutch
You may as well keep it for a few years....until you get bored of it. Or just hold onto it.
I’m keeping it for 2 more years!
leasing is better lol, specially a 2020 model
naw leasing a new one is still pricey. The new RWD is cheaper and that is the only one might be worth
@@Rogcui yeah true
Those cars are pricey to own./ rent/ lease
Theres no turning around
Yep always a money sink unfortunately
@@Rogcui you should make a video about an entry sports cars that is not as expensive, maybe m2 competition? supra gr?
@@betino705 yea great idea will do
get a lexus or acura instead 😅
