Not sure how old you are my fren , but I'm 55 and have been , along with everyone I know, voting against everything degenerate evil and over taxed my whole life and yet here we are...
There comes a time when people need to realize NO MATTER who they THINK is gonna save them because they SAY the right things , yet their actions have proved otherwise, that they need to understand voting is nothing more than an way to extend the collapsing of our Country.
The sad truth is it's Democrat Zionist vs Republican Zionist ie two sides/factions of Israel are running our Country.

They don’t have the exposure to other aspects of gun ownership other than crime and limited self defense. Very different than the majority of the people outside of the city, myself included.

Correction. Most people in NYC don't understand the concept of the 2A. Those of us here in Upstate NY understand it quite well. My grandfather used to hunt when I was a kid growing up. Heck, most people from NYC don't even know the rest of the state even exists. You could tell someone from NYC that you're from Upstate NY and they instantly default to Albany. They don't even know the rest of the state reaches to the Canadian border.

I agree and his choice of SCOTUS justices proves he has and will do what is necessary to protect the Constitution overall. Without those appointments, we would not have had the Conservative majority that we needed to give Thomas the pen to write Bruen which was the most pro-2A decision in history. We also would not have Loper-Bright which overturned the Chevron doctrine and destroys executive overreach. Now he needs to get in again to protect that majority since the next President will likely get to replace Thomas, Alito, and maybe Sotomayor. What do you think will happen if Harris gets to pick those replacements? The 2A will be gutted.

The problem with attempting to differentiate standard firearms from battlefield weapons is that, when the 2nd Amendment was written, the firearm present in nearly every household WAS the battlefield weapon. Here's another thought: I don't like bump stocks, not because they turn a semi-auto into a full auto, but that you have to actually lose some control of the weapon to make it fire like an auto. I'd prefer to have the sear legalized.

Don't forget that both of his eldest sons are such gun guys that they had to explain distance of the assassination attempt and counter-sniper shot to Trump in golf terms, so even when he doesn't have much understanding of guns, both of his eldest sons do, not to mention he has many big gun associates around him, like Vivek. He also says that he'll align more with the Libertarians this time too and claimed he will even appoint one to his cabinet. So even aside from Trump's maybe personally shakey position, he is so surrounded by gun and pro-gun guys, its no doubt in my mind he's a very pro-2A president. Of course after his first term and his base is very 2A as well, he probably further saw how important guns are and how wrong the other side is on them.

He doesn't respect the Right to bear firearms, the Right to due process or the Right to privacy.
      - He resigned the Patriot Act.
      - He pushed for enhanced background checks, and proposed expanding red flag laws on a national level.
      - He proposed that social media companies develop tracking tools to “detect mass shooters before they strike”.
      - He had his DOJ take Google and Apple to court in an attempt to force them to turn over personal information on users of a phone app that calibrates rifle scopes.
      - He proposed the creation of a phone app to conduct remote background checks via the NICS system that would give government greater access to personal information without due process and eventually lead to the creation of a de facto national gun registry.
Yea, that sure is respectful of the Rights enumerated in Constitution. lol
