@@tonybattaglio4625 pending on your budget remember you can buy a used car as well. Maintenance on your vehicle is way cheaper here.

I have a 4 year list as well and have already started it , bought land aug 23 , got house plans, I compared the 20ft container that's a no go when retired I don't need all this stuff , to expensive to ship two harleys so if you got it once we can get it again .

I hear you brother about the amount of money, I guess if you've made the right choices in life and can actually have an income of 2K per month or more, awesome, but what if the decision is retire at 62 with maybe 1300 S.S. monthly, or work another 6 years to retire at 68 with the 2K per month, but now your almost 70 years old, everyone pretty much says retire at 62 while you can still enjoy a somewhat active life, and a few say wait for the money, it's a conundrum.

Depends on how disciplined you are. Do I think it's doable? I do! Just not going to have much extra income at the end of every month. I would say to attempt to have an emergency fund of some sort (5K to 10k) just in case. Things happen as we age.

I know enough of the language to get by. I should try to learn more. So I know a portion of the the language but not enough.

My name is on the house, but my wife being a Filipino citizen is the majority owner. Essentially my wife owns the house. But yes, you are correct a Filipino has to own the house.
