We could easily point out 5 things we don't like in America, but for now we are just pointing out things here in the Philippines. #retiredinthephilippines #philippines #philippinespr...

Expensive for me,
just curious.... how much would you expect to pay at another restaurant? Thanks for the comment!
@cryptoPI1234 here in Baguio, your meal of 14 usd goes a long way, that's with take out. Too much serving in one particular restaurant. ❤️❤️

Hey there, thanks for posting. But I cannot find the first video you mentioned. What company did you use for the shipment and such? Company's we are speaking with say they have to "paper wrap" the furniture and use their boxes to inventory everything. It looks like the company you used did it differently. Did your Asawa used the duty free returning Filipino exemption? Our house will be ready just after the first of the year and we are getting ready to bring a few things over from Vegas to Bataan. Will mainly buy new here. Cheers and thanks.
James, just for the record, it's a pain in the ass to send a container. Just be ready for some frustrations. I went through www.freight-calculator.net/ I was my own broker. I worked in the industry and some of the stuff was still hard to figure out. Long story short I would go through a professional service and pay a little more and have them do everything. And yes we used the duty free exemption. That was also a pain in the ass. All I'm saying is be ready for some head aches if you go the container route. My container was 10K to send until customs flagged my container (random inspection) and held it for 3 weeks. I had to pay for the trucker to take it off site and for demerge (storage fees), not to mentioned customs took all my housed hold goods out of my container and inspect.. By the time I got my container in the Philippines (4 months later) my final bill was about14K and my container was over a month past it's original estimated arrival. Also your wife will need to be in the Philippines to receive the container.
Don't want to be a party killer, but I would avoid sending a container if you can.
Nice try brother...
@@antoniorico6968 Young kids and running hard. I guess when it’s all said and done, I got the opportunity to challenge myself. Just need to make sure I don’t get any injuries!
@@cryptoPI1234 hahaha! Young players are always driving hard going to the goal. The physicality of the game are always present. So, just let them drive and prepare for possible rebound. Me, at my age (47) I joined only the 45 up category...hahaha! Both players can't run fast anymore.😁 Goodluck to you and to the entire team. Keep safe brother.
Great video. You are the first one to talk about the air pollution in P.I. and that is the reason i don`t go here any more. One time i had to spit blood and one time i had `red eyes`from it; one week one eye, the next week the other eye. The filippinos told me to have red eyes is normal. When it comes to traffic, i had a different experience. Busses are racing so hard that it is not safe. Behind us i saw a dead chicken that was not quick enough to escape us. Asking why they are speeding, the answer is: to pick up more clients. That is why the busses are constantly overtaking each other on the narrow roads. For one thing i was wrong. I thought most of the time the horn is blowing, so it is better to normally blow the horn and turn it off by pushing the button. When i checked it, it was fifty-fifty, the time the horn was on or off.
Wow that's extreme. I hope that doesn't happen to me. On the flip side... If in a car it's much better.
Wow Papabear the church looks beautiful. The cemetery looks like the one we go to in Mexico I find it crazy at how similar they are.

One great Phillipino thing is the opportunity for karoke and the unbelievable talent of local people at karaoke, as compared to canos.
I couldn't agree more!
Be safe
Yes, thank you!
COME HOME
Here in subic freeport we have the odd drama but no gates ..no wire..no roosters ..no karaoke..if ya live within the Filipino..well if you’ve been here awhile..the poor are on a different level and understandable..keep your distance just like the dodgy foreigners. It’s just like going out with a 1000 peso hanging out of your pocket. In the end you’ll be robbed..suffice to say best policy is not live any where near the Muslims.
Where I live in Laguna, I go walking, jogging, etc. very late at night -- oftentimes alone -- and I've never had a problem. However, I did the same back in the US. Things do happen here. I've witnessed some horrible crimes over the years, some committed by entire teams of PNP officers. (Corruption is rampant.)
Wow really. Just go's to show you that you can't let your guard down.
I don't like Filipino food in general. Too much fried, fat, salt, and sugar. The variety of fresh fruits and food in Thailand is IMO the best.
Check out the news in Queensland Australia, the Youth Crime will blow your mind.
Why anyone go there
Good advice my friend 👍🏿
Keeping it real, thanks!
WELL SINCE PRES. DUTERTE LEFT THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT PHILIPPINES NOW BECAME A DANGEROUS PLACE, NOT JUST MINDANAO EVEN IN YOUR OWN CITY, TOWNS, Or BARRIO, and MOSTLY MANILA BECAUSE THE ZOMBIES ARE COMING BACK ON THE STREET NOW A DAYS DUE TO LACK OF LEADERSHIP AND NO DIRECTION ABOUT LAW ENFORCEMENT. SO GUY’S LOOK AFTER YOURSELF ALRIGHT??
Putting your life on RUclips doesn't help your safety at all...There are crazies watching! Oh yeah, one more piece of advice...DON'T MARRY A MUSLIM UNLESS YOU ARE ONE!!!
careful my friend about npa, they don't do kidnapping...
Someone who scammed me out of 2k last year in the Philippines just sent me a message trying to scam me again. She forgot she already scammed me. F the Philippines 🇵🇭 the culture is awful and the government encourages scammers.
Don't go to Mindanao or remote ares ,don't brag about money It's not safe in some areas in the Phil..I'm from the the Phil..& have never been to Mindanao..prayers for this young man .
Mindanao is big. A large portion of it is fine to travel to or live in. However, the guy who got kidnapped was living in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte -- a remote Muslim area where kidnapping was a known risk.

@@rafaelescobar8638 True, in the states, you have all the illegal immigration and literally thousands of convicted criminals within the illegal migrants.
@@cryptoPI1234As Canadian I would say that the USA is a leader with a strong locomotive effect: When they go somewhere, many other countries including Canada want to follow.them. Definitely not the case with the Philippines. Nobody wants to follow them. Just look at the way they've "handled" the covid. It's a shame.
@@jean-guynewbrunswick7483 good point
Real good advice. I live in a nice city in Central Luzon and have never felt unsafe. I very seldom carry more than I think I'll need, although if I go grocery shopping I might carry 6 or 7 thousand if I think my groceries will cost near that, because I have had both GCash and Maya fail me before and it was good that I had cash on hand.
Good stuff, that's doing it right!
EVERYONE KNOWS IN THE PHILIPPINES ...MINDANAO IS CRAZY...EVEN FILIPINOS DON'T GO THERE..WHY WOULD HE GO THERE??????????
He knew he was in a bad area. That's not being smart, but still a sad situation.

MINDANAO IS CRAZY??? STUPID STEREOTYPE MIND IS IN THE HOUSE, SO DON’T GO SIARGAO, CAGAYAN DE ORO Etc. Etc, BECAUSE SIARGAO IS PART OF MINDANAO ALRIGHT???
Mindanao is big. A large portion of it is fine to travel to or live in. However, the guy who got kidnapped was living in a remote Muslim area where kidnapping was a known risk. He was warned numerous times and didn't leave.
Be specific where in Mindanao.
