Stumbled onto your vlog and Ghen (Filipina) and I just moved here 2 weeks ago from the US. Six months behind you all and thanks for sharing this. So far during these past 2 weeks and now fully retired I agree with you on your top 5.
Thanks for taking my criticism in a positive way sir, I’m sure you both will get the hang of things “RUclips” rather quickly. Good luck to you both over there and I look forward to watching more of your videos. My wife and I are moving to the Philippines next month, so trying to learn from others. Thanks and take care….
@@scottv3337 good to hear, I did a lot of the same things even though I have been coming back and forth between US and PI for years. So much to learn that you really don’t notice until you live here. Good luck with your ventures as well
I hope you will be happy living here. More best thing that came to you. Relax and enjoy anywhere and whatever else you plan to do here in the Philippines! treasure all the fun and happy moments! Hoping for all the fantastic and amazing moments for both of you ✨🫶🏼
Just like any other country, there are pros and cons of living in the Philippines. You just need to have an open mind and be adaptable to any given situation.
Yes , the fruit is generally ok. The meats (unless imported) requires a chainsaw to cut it. A high percentage of foreigners (including myself) do not like Filipino food. I get around it by buying some imports and dining at non Filipino restaurants.
Very nice of you Jayne, we will consider that when we make our way that way again. We were just there a month ago and the Clark area looks like somewhere we would enjoy spending time.

Enjoyed your video, but it seems you like to talk over your wife, let her talk also…She said a few words and then you jumped right back in… I’ve been married to my Filipina for 24 years and I know they like to be heard and to talk also. That being said, good luck…
@@scottv3337 thank you for the very honest comment. 👍 I can tell that you are very sincere and I appreciate it! I rewatch the video and noticed that a couple times as well. My wife and I have been married 34 years and when she agreed to do the video with me, I was to talk 99.9% of the time. I think if I was more seasoned at doing this I would edit or retake. That being said making videos is brand new for us in front of an audience. Again, appreciate the honest feedback!
@@cryptoPI1234 I appreciate your gracious response, personally as a fellow gringo, I felt that your wife is just a little more shy. I didn’t see you really interrupting her. My Filipina wife is a bit more aggressive and tends to interrupt me mid sentence, but hey that’s OK. It’s all a part of being married each one’s a little bit different from the next. The main thing is that we love one another and respect each other, which I can tell you guys also do. As far as restaurants and food availability, we are fortunate because we live in Negros island, and I could take you to restaurants that you would think you’re right in the middle of a super good restaurant in the San Francisco Bay area, and we also have a Landers and a SNR, so you can get a lot of your favorite Foods that you miss from back in the USA. We go to a large evangelical church so we have plenty of friends and get-togethers, and like you say it’s almost impossible to be bored there’s always something going on.
Really good blog. Keep up the good work beautiful Filipino wife. Congratulations.
@@JosephPerez305 thank you very much!
One great Phillipino thing is the opportunity for karoke and the unbelievable talent of local people at karaoke, as compared to canos.
I couldn't agree more!

I thank you for sharing your experiences in Pi. Very informative. Can u make videos about health insurance that you carry? This is very helpful.
You got it! Thanks for the kind comment

I agree the beef is usually a bit tough and very fatty. Most Filipino food is okay for me. Just NO rice! Just a personal choice.
Hi Guys let me know when you're coming in Clark me and my American husband is happy to meet you.

I'll be back there with my wife November 18th to be there permanently retired. Any tips helpful

I don't like Filipino food in general. Too much fried, fat, salt, and sugar. The variety of fresh fruits and food in Thailand is IMO the best.
