It´s not going to stop happening ever, and this is being reported because of the numbers but a lot of people are shot everyday. I just don´t get why people want to hurt other people. It does not solve anything. It´s crazy that after WWII and the fall of USSR we have very low gun violence in Denmark where I live now (I grew up in Washington State). As a former Marine, former LEO, former Peace Officer in TX. the key to survival in this kind of situation is active situational awareness, training in shoot/don’t shoot scenarios, & shot placement. Train as if your life depends on it. . . . Because it does.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this horrible crime I hope they catch the shooter and I hope the victim's families can get through this and I hope they can get past the phycological impacts.

It´s not going to stop happening ever, and this is being reported because of the numbers but a lot of people are shot everyday. I just don´t get why people want to hurt other people. It does not solve anything. It´s crazy that after WWII and the fall of USSR we have very low gun violence in Denmark where I live now (I grew up in Washington State). Of course when we do have it everyone is screwed because it´s usally a full auto AK, but because of America´s gun laws over time when you have more guns than citizens, it´s a stats game some will not walk away from. My heart goes out to all the families and the fallen officer Eric. There is no laws that can be passed in the US to fix this.

As a former Marine, former LEO, former Peace Officer in TX. the key to survival in this kind of situation is active situational awareness, training in shoot/don’t shoot scenarios, & shot placement. Train as if your life depends on it. . . . Because it does.

There is a complete video online. The windows were NOT shot out, the cops used a battering ram. The guy started filming when the fist shots were fired (he was in the front door) and filmed from the parking lot for three hours.
