Nice Report. Two things I noticed: 1) If an enemy flees as a charge reaction, it is not a failed charge if the charger doesn't catch them, they move the whole distance. 2) The Virtue of the Bretonnians allows not only to re-roll 1's in a challenge, but every failed To-Hit roll, so the end result might have come even sooner, but oh well, same difference.
@@MrMcBaine1 thanks for bringing those points up. I’ll remember those for future games and I’ll share the Virtue rule correction with my opponent. This was my first game against Bretonnians in roughly ten years. It’s crazy to think they are even stronger than they seemed. GW gave them some serious rules love for TOW 😂
Leave a comment voting for who you want me to play in the next battle report. High Elves, Slaanesh Daemons, or Dwarfs. Whichever gets the most love will win. If no one comments, you're leaving an important decision like that to me... just saying, maybe not a good idea to let me make decisions... :P
Would the lance that charged the dragon (were it not otherwise in a challenge) get the attack from that third row middle night? Wouldn't the empty spot be left in the middle of the formation rather than the edge?
I really liked the batrep - you have a pretty chill demeanor and I appreciate someone that, is excited when cool stuff happens, acknowledges unlucky rolls - but doesn't turn it into a screaming thing of "OH MY GOD WAAAA I CANT BELEEEV" - theres too many batreps with "forced hype" out there. Keep doing these - Any chance I can get a Wood Elf Batrep please from someone ;)
@@scottguthrie1854 thanks for watching! I try to lean into the wargaming philosophy where I want everyone at the table to have a fun time most importantly. I will keep my eye out for a painted wood elves army and try to get it on the channel.
Thank you for the battle report. Just a note. Prince only get to reroll 1s on attack if equipped with a hand weapon. Ithilmar weapon special rule only affects hand weapons.
@@rikusvolschenk6476 thank you for catching that! I’ll keep that in mind for future games. Sometimes certain rules from a design perspective don’t make sense to me. I can’t imagine anyone ever taking a prince with a hand weapon so Ithilmar Weapons seems useless. Oh well, the prince is still plenty powerful even without rerolling 1s to hit 😁
Did a unit remain stationary in 8th as I also noticed the lack of movement of the Pegasus knights in turn 1 after a failed charge. Even in sixth you moved your full flight distance.

Love the short bat reps, hope to see more coming :)
More of this please 👍😎
More Old World is on the way. I've got Slaanesh Daemons painted up and am working on Dwarfs next. Lots of nice armies for them to fight.
Thanks for the battle report.

Slaanesh
Really appreciate the nicely painted armies
@@bobbym.1367 thanks for watching! I do my best to only do battle reports with painted armies. Luckily we’ve got some awesome armies around locally.

Was a great game!
Failed charges go further this edition;)
@@mitchcowan1446 thanks for the heads up! I’ll reread that section in the rulebook and make sure I’m getting it right.

I thought the failed charges was your dice roll for the charges added. I think i rolled a 4 on 3 dice or something terrible like that. @ergofargo
1:22 Did you say Bolt Throwers?! 😈
@@Competentetyler haha mine were much less deadly this time than your Minas Tirith ones usually are!!
serrated maw from hyppogriph has multiple wounds 2
@@G4uldoth fairly sure we got this right. I remember Adrien rolling a separate colored die for the maw attack.
