Today we started to drive from Galway toward Connemara and the scenery was absolutely incredible my Filipina Girlfriend was nearly blown away by the crazy wind and rain we experienced. After a long day of driving and in and out of the windy Irish weather we had to do what we do best EAT

Hi Tom and Lay,, I hate wind but I could put up with it for the beauty of this trip. Last week ,I took my Elderly Dad to Yellowstone National Park for a 3 days trip,,,and my 4 month old Akita puppy ( hard core chick magnet,,all the women wanted to pet him from 8 to 80). Its only 150 miles away. I've been there probably 60 times since the 1st time at 13. The weather was sunny but cloudy at the same time. We saw more animals than we've seen in the Park for 25 years. 1000s of American bison,,Rocky Mountain Elk,,Mule Deer,,North American pronghorn,,Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep,,Foxes,,Coyotes,,and one single Wolf chasing a bear cub. We saw big beautiful birds like Bald Eagles,,Trumpeter Swans,,Sandhill Cranes ,,both with babies and 100s of beautiful songbirds like mountain bluebirds,,American Robins,,Meadowlarks and the topper was 10 black bears! Sadly,,none of my favorite animals Grizzly Bears. Some of the rangers had seen them that morning. The 1st night we stayed in a little community called West Yellowstone 😅,,and we experienced a fierce and glorious thunder storm for about 2 hours,,,and naturally my pup had to take a dump during the storm. We had mountains the entire trip,,from 6500 feet to 12 ,000. The high ones still have lots of snow,,and even got fresh snow one night. Tried to make a video,,but I think it was a fail. I need to rent a 10 yr old kid to give me lessons😂😅,,was a fun trip,, but I'd love to see that cold wild Irish coast too. Take care,,Ttyl,,,Marlon

Wow...Ireland’s weather is fascinating! It doesn’t look summer. It looks more like it’s winter...crazy! Lived in Vancouver and Seattle for 40+ years and got tired of the gloomy weather. Is it the same where summertime in Ireland is short? Does it start in July? Tom you’re so funny using fork n knife eating a burrito. Enjoy your travels 🙏

Roundstone village is a nice little place. When I was there 10 years ago they didnt have an atm. Nearest one was in Clifden. Sting used to own a place in Roundstone in the 70s. He liked it cos he could jog on a huge beach and have it all to himself.

I can feel you Lay …in my first few months here in Ireland, i feel so cold! Now i prefer the weather here than anywhere else… no extreme weather here unlike some other countries😉
This could have been another picturesque scenery video, had the weather cooperated. As a viewer, as if I could feel a bit of that stormy weather.

I've neen in the Philippines for the last 5 years but in a way tour windy damp experience there on the west coast of Ireland makes me homesiick for my Newdounland, Canada, which has a similar climate❤
its really strange how much different the weather is in Ireland, I live on the south coast of England in between Worthing and Pompey, it was breezy yesterday but nothing like that, I still went and sat in wetherspoons garden had a couple of beers and lunch, not a million miles away really, was still warm here overcast but not wet, good to see Lay take it all in her Stride, shes so laid back i doubt anything would faze her, enjoy yourselves, hope the weather improves for you both 🙂

Hi Tom @Lay, England Scotland and Wales are all having the same weather as Ireland. I am 70 and have never known weather like this at this time of the year. I sm Irish and have travelled aroun Ireland every summer. I don't want people to be put of travelling to ireland if they think yhis is happening every year. To be honest i don't know whats going on but the eeather is beautiful there usually in summer .😊
