UNBELIEVABLE 2024 road trip thru Canada's wildfire-prone desert 🇨🇦 LILLOOET→HOPE

The road from Lillooet to Hope in Canada goes through hot, dry desert as well as shady, lush green mountains. It's quite a wild ride for a single day. In this video, my sister and I drive from Lillooet to Cache Creek and on to Deadman's Junction Ranch, a mesmerizing collection of wild west-like buildings, signs, implements, and even rattlesnakes. Then we head down Trans-Canada Highway 1, where we pass by (and through) the Shetland Creek Wildfire of 2024. After that it's Lytton, a small town that was 90% destroyed by another fire in 2020. After that sobering visit, we follow the Fraser River through dramatic mountains down to the charming little town of Hope, nestled in the spiky peaks of the Cascades.
