I CAN TELL YOU ONE THING ABOUT THESE MINES THAT BY THE MASSIVE SIZE OF THESE DUMPS THEY MUST HAVE HUGE NUMBER OF LEVELS AND MILES OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS
DAVID ADAM GRENIS CURRENTLY IN HOUSTON TEXAS BUT I'M FROM BOULDER COLORADO.

Absolutely, the size of those tailings piles definitely indicates extensive underground workings! It’s fascinating to think about all the history beneath our feet. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, David! Hope you’re enjoying Houston, but Colorado is hard to beat! :)

I guess they changed the name. I do wonder why?

No name change here-these are two separate mines. :) There is also Colorado Boy Mine just north of Yankee Girl, which adds to the confusion!

Is yankee boy not girl. Where did you hear that?

This it Yankee Girl. :) I believe the Yankee Boy Mine is located in Yankee Boy Basin, NW of the Yankee Girl Mine on the other side of the highway.
