Really enjoyed this video. We are planning a trip and were thinking about checking this place out and u just sealed the deal for us :) thanks for sharing the prices too.
We drove down there from York PA (near Gettysburg PA) last early Sept . I've been to Sydney Australia and Nelson NZ twice , Hawaii, did the zip lines on Maui, went to Nantucket (old 1700 town ) and Marthas VInyard MA but this place takes the cake! I loved it up there! Its just the coolest place to be and look out over the mountains with sunset and especially when it gets dark with all the lights. Yes, Ive been to see the Grand Canyon, and thats awesome ! but I love this place, I want to go back to see Anakeesta again about 3 weeks before Christmas before it really gets crowded according to videos I watch .
@@katweaver3275 I doubt if I'll go back My mothers brother passed and so did his wife. I have cousins who live in Nelson but I doubt if l'll get back. I have so many places to see in USA,(mountains ,etc) . Nelson was beautiful though . I went both times in Feb because it is our winter and summer downunder
It has changed so much up there since my last trip in 2018! I think I love the very top of Ober Gatlinburg after the chairlift. Just the simplicity, the little band and amazing views. Cheers
Great video! My family and I went to Anakeesta last year for the first time, and will visit there next month! This time, we will spend more time there! We didn't realize there is so much to do there! Plus, I didn't know that you can see as far as Kentucky on a clear day! I can't wait to go back and visit Anakeesta next month!
liked and subbed, love your voice :) can you please answer me this though what does the annual pass actually entitle one to? discounted entry? would be nice if entry is one off higher price for an annual pass and subsequent visits are free... too good to be true , like the old days! being the 80s n 90s ( am a gen x er)
I was just there 2 days ago it's not worth the money. Your paying 35.00 dollars basically for a view, that's it. I would not go back. The staff there is also very rude.
Are they handicap accessible & are they given special ticket prices? I'm unable to walk much at all. I assume Service Animals are welcome as they are everywhere?
Well done presentation. I like that you have the good, the bad, and lots of current info. Thanks.
We have never been but after watching your video we are checking it out when we go this summer. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for including an accessibility section. Amazing video!
Thanks Samantha!

we were there last Sept One of the coolest places I have ever been I want to go back about 3 weeks before Christmas some year
Same here. We're going in three days.
We were very disappointed. The best part was the ride down

Very informative video thank you so much chad. The views are beautiful.
Thanks Melinda!
One of my favorite places to go in town.

It’s not the same place as it was in 2017 & 18,
that’s for sure.
Thank you for this comprehensive video! I have been a couple of times to Gatlinburg/PF, but never been here. Looks like it's worth it!!
Thank you for showing as Whts it’s like there , I am going with Family next Week
Thanks Chad! We're going in September for the first time!
Thanks for the heads up on Anakeesta I can't wait to check it out in June
Enjoy!
When I went, I took the Chondola up and I took the ridge rambler back down

I can't remember how much extra it costs but after dark they have the Astra Lumina light display at Anakeesta.
How’s it for seniors and for handicapped who walks with a cane? But I’m adventurous
Plenty of benches to sit down.
At those prices there should be some live bluegrass music !

Looks fun, especially the views from the top but $32 just to go up there and walk around? I am not sure that may be convincing for some.
Are there smoking areas and can you leave and come back at night for the tree top walk?
I was wanting to ask same question😅
Please let me know because we will be there in 6 days
👍
ove you logoQ

Food was expensive?
It's a ripe off. Restaurants are very expensive. Views you can get elsewhere for 1/3 of the price. $$$$$
