Same here! I’ve fostered kittens before, and the fact that I was made to screen people who wanted to adopt a kitten makes me wonder what type of organization would require you to submit an application yet allow the foster family to even foster knowing they had a dog, let alone a pit-bull. Nothing against dogs-but talk about irresponsible and deplorable that a sweet little life was taken in the most unimaginable way because of what? I just moved here, but in San Diego this is something we’d report to the San Diego Humane Society. No. Just no. I do think it’s sweet that Maddie named the new kitten after Travis. But I almost wish I’d never seen footage of the baby that was killed. 😢

Yes! You should not even have them in your home if you have cats. The pollen and all is poisonous.
That is so awful and so much more heartbreaking than I originally thought. From the Instagram story I initially thought a car accident was the accident but this is so much more traumatic. The foster shouldn’t be able to foster again that is for sure. Plus from now on maybe the rescue should temperament test any dog that’s going to share the house (no matter the breed) with kittens before approving someone as a foster.
You ended with a cute kitten in the end but supper sad that it had to end this way for the original kitten plus his litter mates.

I’m heartbroken for Travis and all of the kittens that have been in that home. I’m heartbroken for that Rescue, because that person has probably fostered for them before, however, thankfully will probably never foster ever again.
And I’m heartbroken for you and Dawson. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you and for furry friends in foster care or heartbreaking situations everywhere.
There’s no reason for a foster to ever not reach out for help when there’s been an accident. They don’t get paid, and every rescue provides healthcare for the foster pets. There’s no reason this should have ever happened. 🥺

I would say if they’re not going to do anything with the Pitbull then for them to never have kittens or any other animal around. It’s sad to think they didnt get it after the first incident with 2 of the kittens. That’s really messed up and pisses me off. None of that had to happen and Im sorry for you and those kittens. 💔

Awww, so sorry about the original Travis, something feels off with that story, I feel like it was the lady but she blamed it on the dog bc it is so old. I’m glad you found your cat though, he’s precious. Also with two cats now have you thought about getting one of those self cleaning robot litter box that a lot of people have?

I’m so sorry Madi that happened to you. That makes me cry. I was adopting a Puppy from the humane society, and I watched them from just born to 8 weeks old. I was the first one to have a choice of the litter. I went over her house, played with all of them, and picked the one I would like. The woman wouldn’t even go away so I could play with him. Then she was trying to tell me that I was not going to potentially get him cause she wanted to give him to someone else. I was like hold on I have first choice, and puppies have to get use to being around you and smell your scent to. So I had to call the Manager of Humane Society and tell her she wouldn’t give me the puppy I wanted. It was a stressful situation. I literally watch them from start to finish. I love Travis he is cute and I hope he makes you really happy. I ended up getting my puppy he is now going to be 4 in Oct. I will see him grow up with you on your videos. Much Love girl. Marley has a brother now. ❤❤❤❤❤

I’m so sorry to hear about those kittens. That woman had no business fostering when she had a pitbull in the house. I don’t care how sweet she thinks her dog is, it’s just not good to do that because now look what happened. I saw the end of your video and you have a new Travi. He looks really cute. But please, if you do decide to ever adopt another cat, please adopt one from a shelter. Shelter animals are just as good and they really need love. It’s awful how many shelter animals get euthanized. All animals need love, but especially ones in shelters that are fighting for their lives. 💕

I’m so sorry madi, this is heart breaking 💔 my cat (who is a Siamese and rag doll mix) was attacked by a dog when she was a kitten. She has a hole in esophagus from it, so she struggles to breath and she has to eat slow but I’m lucky she made it. 😢🥺
Your cat is so cute. Did you get her when she was a kitten? My older sister has a cat that kinda looks like yours. Her name is Fluffy.

confused as to why she was fostering kittens in the same home as a big dog and carelessly leaving the door open that is ridiculous. and the fact she has done it multiple times does not make it okay. we have had multiple baby ducks but i made sure to keep them away from my golden retriever even though he is the sweetest dog ever but he can play rough. i am so sorry girl 🫶🏼

So sorry girl!😢 If you're a foster your dogs & cats need to be friendly with the other. My dogs aren't dog friendly or cat friendly so we could never foster. It definitely sounds like she shouldn't be fostering....at least cats.
