    I make this chicken leg tray-bake (& variations of it) quite often for my family. I just put everything directly into a large baking dish, skipping the stove top/pot step. Season well with good salt/pepper, olive oil, lemons, garlic, herbs of choice, and bake! It makes it's own juices/gravy while cooking. Serve in the dish straight to the centre of the table - everone helps themseves. We usually have a big bowl of salad with simple lemon/olive oil dressing to go with as a side too! Swap the meats/veggies according to seaons/availability or remove altogether if vegan/veggie. Great, versatile week-night meal, often with leftovers to add to homemade soup/omlette for brunch the next day..I'm British, my family have always eaten this way!

      Why are you crossing the border sir? Breakfast. How long do you plan on staying? 30 mins. Not sure that would fly in the US..

      Are you serious? Germany is known for its bread. The quality is far superior to French bread, which is usually just baguettes. I guess the "grass is always greener" on the other side of the fence (border) ;-)

    Being half French in my ancestry and being bilingual in French, as well as having been to France, I sometimes wish that the U.S. would follow the example of France with eating habits. It's something I am trying to do myself, though some days can be more challenging than most days. Great video!

    This looks like a perfect day of food for me, I love it! I don't have a huge appetite, and I also have to keep an eye on what I eat, because I've hit menopause and that has simply ruined my metabolism. But, I'd have to replace the chicken with tofu or maybe white beans or fava beans, since I'm vegetarian 😊. The sourdough with dried fruits looked heavenly!

    Tout est super bon. Une grande nouveauté (pour moi), c'est la façon dont vous avez utilisé le citron. Habituellement, je le mets soit à l'intérieur du poulet, lorsqu'il est au four, soit en tranches, si je le prépare sur la cuisinière. Autre chose d'intéressant à apprendre et à appliquer. Merci beaucoup🙂

    • @easyfrenchdiet
      @easyfrenchdiet  7 месяцев назад +2

      Bonjour oui moi aussi parfois je les mets au four en tranches pour obtenir des citrons confits et effectivement c'est délicieux. Mais j'aime bien aussi faire comme dans cette recette car ainsi le jus final au fond de la cocotte est spécialement parfumé car il y a un mélange avec les sucs du poulet et les épices. Les deux sont sympas. Merci d'avoir regardé. Bonne journée 😊

      Hello. You can have it either raw with vinegar and olive oil or cooked (boiled and fried). In France we have several recipes with endives. One is especially delicious. Endives are stuffed with ham, cheese and sauce and grilled in the oven. In salad we use to eat endives with beets and walnuts and vinaigrette. Have a nice day!

    Very nice. I wouldn't call that grilled chicken. In English, "grilled" means something else.
    I noticed that you eat butter twice a day, bread or starch twice a day. Probably 50g, but very little sugar. Tres bien!

    its not just being vegan (unless you want to and have a unique health need)or or buying plant based meat....its quality control and having access to fresh stuff like fresh bread, butter and eating unprocessed meat
    Theres a city in usa that is banning junk and guess by how? BY making everyone vegan but a lot of it is processed!
    you can eat meat and dairy with quality control and be healthy just like in france and germany
    thank you for the effort!
