    I've got lots of memories of caravanning from the age of 3, in Wales (1972) and love the look of this channel. I intend to check your uploads regularly. Good luck with everything, and seasons greetings.

    Thanks for the video. We have the same old aircon in our van which is making the same noises...lol. Thankfully not dripping water though! I have to replace ours soon in our Jayco Westport 19ft van so will be very interested to hear how your new Ibis 4 handles the top end heat in that size van. Keep up the great video work and enjoy the top end wet season!

    Hows it going i lived in Darwins everytime 30 years ago we use to have mcdonalds parties and you had to get it shipped up from South Australia there was no maccas in Darwin then haha good times.

    Lived in Darwin for 3 years, the wet season is tough. Keep your aircon on about 20 so it won't ice up as set too low causes the ice which blocks the airflow. You will have no issues if you find it's sweet spot. Thanks for the cool vid.

    It is quite pointless trying to collect the moisture in the caravan by any means. Humid air is coming in constatly, your best bet is insuring good ventillation to prevent mold forming.

    • @CaravanAdventureAus
      @CaravanAdventureAus  3 года назад

      Yes we do make sure we’ve got good ventilation with fans and opening windows 😊Cheers for the feedback

    A bag of kitty litter does a better job of absorbing moisture and is cheaper. I even put some in an old sock in the car to stop moisture forming in th windows. Cheers.

    Hi guys, just wanted to drop you a line. I’ve just subscribed to your channel. Came across you on Facebook probably on the Roadstar page I think? and you struck a cord as we have a 2004 Roadstar Vacationer Tango as well that we have owned for 13 years. We absolutely adore it as well. Ours is a different layout but has many similarities. We don’t have an en-suite (and want one now) but double bunks from the days when our kids were younger. We have been looking for a replacement van for years but still can’t find anything that is better. Spookily my hubbys name is Bryce too. We did the lap 24 years ago when our boys were 2 and 4 but in a jayco camper trailer back then. Our air conditioner is still going but looks crap on top so we are going to paint it soon. We are currently locked down at home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches so will travel vicariously with you until we can get back out there again. Safe travels. Nicci and Bryce

      Hey Nicci and Bryce!
      Thanks for reaching out to us. We love hearing other people’s stories and how much they love their Roadstars. We only got ours 15 months ago. We used to have a pop top without an en-suit. So happy we made the swap to Vacationer Tango because we love it 😍
      Hopefully the lockdown won’t last too long and you guys can get travelling again 🤞🏾🤞🏾
      Cheers again for watching!

    Did anyone notice on the new checkerplate grab handles and lower clearance lights not refitted

    • @CaravanAdventureAus
      @CaravanAdventureAus  3 года назад

      We asked for them not to be refitted. We think they look a bit silly and not needed.
      Thanks Ed for watching the video 😊👍🏽

    I wouldnt recommend standing on the roof of a caravan as done in this video.
    Better to have planks or something across roof to lean on.
    The aircon has a support beam normally but additional weight could effect roof framework

    • @CaravanAdventureAus
      @CaravanAdventureAus  3 года назад

      Thanks for the comment Ed 😊 We do have some planks of wood we usually use when working on the roof for a longer period of time.
      Cheers for watching 👍🏽
