- Welcome back to another video! This week we are crossing into the NT!
We travel across the Barkley highway in our Network RV and Next Gen Ford Ranger and head up towards Daly Waters for a beer, we find a free camp outside town. Next stop is the Elsey national park and we stay at the bitter springs cabin and camping to base ourselves to explore. Bitter springs is a awesome lazy river to float and relax in the hot spring. Mataranka thermal pools is a man made pool fed by a hot spring and great place for a swim.
Another must do in mataranka is Nathan Whippy Griggs whip show which was very entertaining!
Heading further north we stop into the Katherine farmstay for a couple of nights while we do the cutta cutta caves tour.

I stayed at Matteranka in 2003 with my 2 boys. We swam every day at the Hot water springs and when All the tourists came in my kids would scream “ crocodile I see a crocodiles” everyone would jump out whilst we stayed in their! I’d had driven down from Darwin and stayed in a cabin five nights
I loved it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
wow that water is so clear it looks beautiful to swim in
Ok thanks so much. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us all.
I do love the NT, will get back up there one day. Stay safe guys
It's such a good spot to visit, even better in the dry season!

You won't have to worry about not being able to run that air-conditioning off grid for juice real soon 😊
Same when you're cooking inside 😀
Enjoy your travels guys thank you once again
Haha yes wouldn’t that be great!
Have a while before we’re back in SA tho 🥵
Good to see u guys working yr way to the west again

Love my Sunday morning videos thanks guy's 🤙
Thanks for watching! 👍🏽😃
Brings back great memories, we were there 2 years ago and loved it thanks for another great vid 😊
Thanks for watching! 😃
Thanks guys , as always another good one ! Keep ‘em coming ! 👍👍🍻🍻
Thank you Mark!
Those hot springs look so inviting. It's freezing down here in Newcastle.
If you dip those screws in loctite before putting them back in, they will never get loose again.
👌🏾👌🏾
Yes good idea actually 👍🏽
Thanks for watching Jason
Hey guys iv lived in Mataranka & jik in the NT ..awesome place to work & fish & camping.. I work at the pub there 👍
Thats awesome! Beautiful spot for sure 👌🏽🍻
We loved it here. Thanks for the great content. Removing the screws and adding some clear adhesive sealant on all the screws, including drawer runner screws, cupboards etc will save you a lot of time down the road. Safe travels
Hey thanks so much for the tip! 👍🏽😃
Welcome back to the NT guys. The Barkly Highway has been closed to flooding and bushfires periodically for the last 12 months. Anyway enjoy your trip in the NT. If you make it to Darwin I might see you around. Aaron
Oh we didn’t know about the fires 😮 it wasn’t good but only slow going in sections 👍🏽
Thanks Aaron for watching
Bryce, i want give a huge thanks to you. I found a random little white cover on my caravan floor and could not work out for the life of me where it came from. I now know. 😅 You and Chelse are the best… x
Oh from the window? Haha 👍🏽😃
Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel recently. We are just about to start traveling more around Australia and you have given me so many great places to visit.
Thanks for watching! Glad we could help out 👍🍻
Thanks guys!! 😊
Wish we were there with you!
🫶🏼
I just love sunday's ❤
Thanks for watching Khloe!
Thanks for the heads-up on the windows screws loosening. On our last trip we found water damage in the corner of the tunnel boot. The screws around the door were all loose, so not sealing properly. We then checked all the other hatches and all screws were loose to varying degrees. Another thing to keep checking. Great video as usual Chelsea, Bryce and Juice.
No worries! Things you shouldn't have to check but good thing to keep on top of for sure! 👍 thanks for watching 🍻
another awesome video guys , look forward to Sundays , oh they say dogs can’t eat pork , but maybe you already know , you are great doggy parents always put Juices needs first , our dogs are spoiled too just like juice ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes we don’t feed him pork. I think it’s just cured meat like bacon or ham. But good to be safe hey 👍🏽😃 thanks for watching!
Great to watch as usual, loved Bryce’s hint re the plugs on the windows.
Thanks Lorraine!
I recently cane acros your Chanel...
❤Love your content .. the way you say where you are and places to stay.
We are looking forward to retirement and will be getting a caravan and traveling our lovely countryside.
I'm not a 4 wheel drive sort of person so keeping it simple for our main traveling is my happy😊.
Maybe a little basic off roading sometimes 😮.
Hey welcome to the channel!
We are so glad you are enjoying the videos 😃
Thanks
Thanks Peter! Love the support ❤️
Safe travels ❤
Thank you Peter
Great viewing. 👍
Yum fried rice looks amazing 🤩
We saw snakes in our tour of the caves. 🐍
Thanks mum! 🥰
It's good to see your video amazing ❤
Thanks for watching Jennifer!
Bitter is our favourite too! Our puppy is just like juice. Can smell food for kms 😂
👍🏽😃
we head up to the NT this week, cant bloody wait
Stunning up here
Hey guys, I recommend you dont just tighten the screws on the windows. Undo them all, take the surround off and check the actual brackets. Its a common issue with Ranger windows where the screws loosen and the brackets slip off the window frame. Just use a razor blade or Stanley knife to remove the plugs. I would check at least two windows to see if you need to check them all. Only takes about 15 minutes a window. Our plugs never pushed out but about 25% of the securing brackets had fallen off.
Thanks
Hey! Thanks so much for the support!
We really appreciate it 😃🤩
Great video as always. We missed doing Bitter Springs in July last year as they closed it due to a croc sighting. Mataranka was busy when were there too.
🐊🐊 scary!
🥰🥰🥰 Sending hugs guys! XO
🥰🥰
Oh I see him, hi juice ❤❤❤❤❤❤
🥰🥰
I follow Collingwood 🎉 and juice has gotten big
👍🏽😃 yep fully grown now
Great video guys last year i lost a hour and a half at the only servo in camooweal all the best Ron
Oh wow! Was that for fuel? Hope you weren't running too low at the time 😳
@@CaravanAdventureAus yes for fuel the cars where lined up along the road side both sides and in the parking area i just stopped and started got there in the end
That's a shame about your experience with the Cutta Cutta Caves. If you can get a few less people on the tour then it really is very interesting and well worth the tour. However, it does always depend on the tour guide and the fellow tourists, as is always the case. Snakes are always an issue in those caves. I lived in Katherine for 12 months and every time I went there, there were always snakes inside and outside the cave. Thanks for sharing again and it's a pity you had that experience. Hopefully, onward and upwards from there though. Cheers
Hey Debra!
Yes that’s totally right some people have had great experiences there but personally we didn’t. That’s like anything hey!
Thanks for watching 🥰
Hey guys love the adventures. I was wondering what drone you are using? Cheers
Hey mate, we have a DJI mavic air 2 👍
Try adding a bit of lock thread to your screws
Hey mate! Thanks for the tip
Another awesome video....more items to add to my map. Have you done any of the caves down in Tassie yet? what were your thoughts on them?
Keep enjoying yourselves and taking us along with you.
a little loctite on the screws might be the go 👍
Great idea mate!
Hi Guy's. Another great video. What brand of tow mirrors are you using and how are you finding them ? Thanks. Safe Travel
Hey mate we are using milenco mirrors and have used them for the last 4 years full time 👍 we think they are a great product
Hay guys great video again look forward to my Sundays to watch what adventures u guys are up to. Question? Do u guys fellow the afl or any sport. What team do u follow. C u next Sunday ❤😊😊
Thanks for watching!
Bryce follows the AFL and port Adelaide! Chelsea is just happy to watch whatever 👍 who do you follow?
Greaat Vid... One day...
Luv ya vids guys
Thank you! 👍🏽🥰
Hey mate, put some lock nut on the screws, they will keep coming loose otherwise
Yes good idea!
Definitely busy up here at the moment. I'm wondering, do you guys have a video on finances? Always interested in numbers and what people are travelling on to back them
Nice review on the window. Maybe get a little tube of loctite?
As screwing into timber, thread tape around screw
Crocs do go on land lol…. I’d be cautious anywhere near a river where they have sited crocs…
Hi guys
Have following you for some time, keep up the great content.
Q: on the old van the combo oven you had what was the name and make and also would you recommend it?
Regards steve
Hey thanks for the comment!
It was a breville smart oven air fryer, and it's great. We've actually just put one in the new van but that video won't be out for a few weeks 🤫
I got sick of the screws coming out of the windows, must be a new caravan thing. I got some weak loctite and put on all of them….took ages to do. Haven’t had a problem since but..
Awesome idea 👍🏽👍🏽
Another great episode we love you 3😂. Hey just wondering what was that song you played I really like it
Hey thanks for watching!
The music is all from a platform called Epidemic Sound it’s a subscription service for creators. Non copy write music. Doesn’t really have a name for you to find sorry
@@CaravanAdventureAus thanks for letting me know 😊
How’s the new van going?
Hi guys great videos.
Quick question iv just bought a new Ranger when you are towing do you use the 4A in the towing mode or go back to 2H.
Cheers
Hey mate, we use 4A when towing, what happens is when you go over a certain speed the ute only sends power to the rear wheels. There's a screen on the dash that is labelled power distribution where you can see it too 👍 hope that helps
Thanks for the advice mate , much appreciated, stay safe out there 👍🏻
So. You can still take dogs just leave them in the van
Travelling NT in peak season has been the same for 15 - 20 years, be warned, but a great place to visit
It's our first time in the peak normally we are up here in the wet season! Much better weather though!
@@CaravanAdventureAus mango season soon👍
Hey Guys, what is the name of the Song you put with this episode? It had ‘hey darling’ lyric in it?
Hey it’s music from a subscription service called Epidemic Sound. It’s non copy write music for creators.
The music doesn’t have proper names / artists for you to find unless you have Epidemic Sound.
Sorry if that wasn’t much help
My first 3 minutes now not seeing juice
😂🐾
