Winter Traveler - Winter Traveler (19??) Full Album

Yet another mysterious cassette obtained from a resale shop. With this one, I thought it was more Christmas-oriented, given the title. I bought it regardless, since I couldn't find a trace of it online. When I decided to test it out, I discovered that it was merely a name for a folk/art rock band... I think. As you can see, the cassette only said Winter Traveler, and that was on the side, not on the front cover. Nothing was listed on the cassette itself, so virtually nothing is known about this band. No label, no personnel, not even song titles. Surprisingly, I have not grown accustom to this sort of thing.

Alotta private release tapes like this can be found, probably more out there than vinyl private press. Tapes were such a cheap and effective format for home musicians. Love it.

Man, that's wild. No info at all! Maybe there was an insert at one time that fell out. They kinda sound like CSNY or something...

Yeah, I dig it. I actually asked the guy working at the store if he knew anything about the cassette, since this was a mom & pop type of bookstore. He did not.
