Hey Diane! Thanks so much for watching and leaving that feedback. Sometimes it’s hard to know exactly what people will be interested in. Early on, we just decided to show exactly what we like and not worry about it, lol. Have a beautiful weekend ahead! 💕
I have hundreds of photos of doors and windows, All the architectural elements are so beautiful in Europe. Everything is so quirky. I also have hundreds of photos of the roads from my travels. I always feel so inspired just walking around. I feel like it is time to move permanently this time. I do live in a pretty area in the US but there is nothing quite like the mix of really old and new that Europe offers. I'm so glad you are making these videos.
That’s so fun! I feel like many parts of Europe are like visual candy for creative folks. I have thousands of videos from our travels over the past four years that it was only fitting to start doing something with them. Where would your dream location be if you were to move to Europe?
I was just going through my external drives and couldn't find any photos at all. Thankfully they were actually on my computer. I have so many photos and I want to do something with them if not for just inspiration. I'm glad you are sharing videos. I have been thinking about that a lot lately. There are lots of places that I love in Italy and I spent a lot of time in Lago Di Como. I love it there. I'm torn though because I also love France and I have a draw to Scotland. I don't know if I could live full time in Scotland or not (and they changed the visa so no retirement visa available). I think a lot depends on the weather. I just can't too hot anymore. Northern France is looking good. Do you both have any plans to stay in Europe? @@RockyandKimball
@@rosedages5477 yes, we plan to stay in England for my work. I have a lovely job there and we can access the rest of Europe quite easily. We adore Italy and France. I think one of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen was on Lake Como. We also really like Perugia. We love the US too, but we were there for forty years and wanted to see new things. ^_^ Let us know if you decide to make a move! 🚗
I've been here for a little longer and would like to spend the remaining time outside of the US. It is beautiful and there are lot of nice things here but I too want to explore. It is so easy when you don't have to fly over the pond. Como is stunning but does get a bit hot in the summer. It is perfect February - May, September, and October. I hardly ever saw the sunsets when I lived there being on the west side of the lake. I had mountains behind me. I do prefer to have the sun in the morning though unlike the east side. Ideally Bellagio would have the best of both. I like a more regular town vs tourist area though. Italy is so beautiful and every place is so different. It is hard to choose. There is the option of doing both :) I will certainly let you know when I move. I hope you are currently enjoying your adventures. @@RockyandKimball
My thissster!!! lol Thanks for the encouraging feedback. It’s fun to retrace our steps and make a story out of all the random clips. I feel they start getting even better from here. Though, will we ever speak more clearly? Don’t make any bets.
Thanks for another great VLog. BTW there is an Orangery, or L’Orangerie du Jardin du Luxembourg, in the garden. It was built in 1830 to protect 300-year-old palm, lemon, and orange trees, as well as grenadiers and oleanders from colder weather.
Looking forward to next weeks fun packed episode 😁 because this weeks was…….🤔so interesting. I think you need to try a French specialty some time ( not a baguette )❤
Le Routard is the best guide book you can buy!!! The restaurant recommendations are always amazing! As far as I know they are only available in French and Dutch. So places with those stickers are officially recommended by Le Routard.
So epic with the pond where little boys had small boats in the water - I once saw that in a movie but honestly didn't know that it was a 'thingy' for real!.. We should all get rich and move into the Cour Carrée as one big ass art-hippie living style!.
I want to go on vacation with the 2 of you! I can walk all day but hubby wants to stop and rest “for just a minute” and then he won’t get moving again lol I can’t wait for the next video! ❤️
Hi Cheryl! So glad you enjoyed. Yes, we tend to walk a lot while we’re travelling. Mainly because we’re too cheap to do public transport lol. We just finished quite a long trip through Belgium and The Netherlands, so there are a lot of fun cities coming up on the channel. If you’re ever in the UK, let us know and we’ll see if we can meet up!
Love you guys. The Space Invaders art is from a famous French street artist Franck Slama? -We have some in Amsterdam as well. If you’re ever back in NL, let us know.

This video made me miss Paris. Love seeing it through your eyes. I remember going to see the crazy colorful Stravinsky Fountain the first time I went to Paris in the late 80's. So rad!
I really like that you two show all the little intricacies of the city, not just touristy things. Very interesting!
