Oh my gosh, I have that little owl lock on my desk and I look at it every day. I actually found a matching elephant at a nearby village during a flea market. They’re from a maker in Tibet apparently. I asked her to bring me a fox next time she goes there lol. Complete the collection.
When I did my first Seine boat tour, I discovered they are used locally to commute from one part of the city to another. No car traffic, a nice river breeze, and nearly point to point drop off. River boat became my favorite way to commute around Paris for my annual 3 week visits!

Great video. Reply to last video. I stayed in the Latin Quarter a couple of times and also in the Bastille area. You got to love the parks everywhere. When in the city I like to see museums, art, architecture, parks, and fun places. When in the rural areas I like to spend time outside hiking and adventures like that. If you can find some locals to hang out with all the better. I usually find interesting places not on the map that way and really get to know an area by the people who live there. I loved the store where you bought the owl lock. I would have bought it too. The brown swan was a juvenile. It will turn all white later. It's nice to see you having so much fun. Kimball, thanks for having art videos during your time away.

Young swans are often brownish/grayish. There is actually a pretty famous story about the phenomenon by Hans Christian Anderson called The Ugly Duckling. Its a tale about a young duckling that gets picked on by all his siblings because he is so ugly. But of course later when they all grow older he turns into this amazingly beautiful pure white swan and he is like... Who is laughing now you b*****??. So people, dont judge a book by its cover!

I worked for IKEA out in Conshohocken. We never got a chance to visit Pittsburgh but it looks really cool. We did drive through Harrisburg once and it was quite fun as well! I love my work, so I love where I am both physically and mentally in life. It’s such a switch from my last job, which was sucking the life out of me. I’m so happy to have found your channel.
