I have walked away from family, it was hard but I did it. The world paints a picture that all people are kind. But this is not the case always. My faith helped me to regain my control of myself and gave me the courage to walk away finally. Cut all ties. My family used the phone to manipulate me. Keep in contact to see what I was doing. Once I stopped this contact, they showed the real them. They where highly insulted couldn't verbally attack. Lost their grip on me.

Yes! When you're raised by them, marry them, have siblings and/or offspring who are toxic, our energy is spent defending/protecting ourselves rather than developing healthy boundaries. Makes it's so difficult to trust our perception, because there are so many. Sets us up for a lifetime of misery, until we learn differently. I'm only beginning to understand and it truly is liberating.

A lifetime of a very toxic mother to this day. Siblings followed in her footsteps to the extent that after asking 3 times if I needed a certain test and wasn't replied to, I now have to live with a life threatening illness.

You can't change them, so why waste your precious time here on earth being frustrated and unhappy. I am open to loving everyone until they prove they don't deserve it. When I am done with them, I am not going to engage with them again. I mean ever, no matter if they are family, once friends, or colleagues. I value me and my well-being. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I distanced myself from family-it was a painful choice, but necessary. Society often portrays family as a source of unconditional love, but that's not always true. My inner strength and faith gave me the courage to break free and reclaim my peace. Cutting all ties was the turning point. They had used communication to control and monitor me, disguising it as concern. When I ended that connection, their true nature surfaced. Unable to manipulate or criticize me anymore, they lost the control they once held over me.

the problem is that most of these toxic people do it subtle, over time and usually as they grin like you should focus on the facial expression and not so much the words. and bc it takes awhile to see them as toxic, that's why it takes awhile to react to them properly... people were conditioned to be forgiving, listeners, sympathizers and that it was STRANGERS you were supposed to be wary of...

Just thinking back throughout my life and the psychological truth about the mindset of individuals and our own taught and or not taught behavior's. The true mental health status of everyone in society has been taught groomed, practiced within childhood. It's profoundly freeing. I'm grateful for whoever created this video, for everyone that shares the good news. Everything takes time, Rome wasn't built over night, the beauty about theses videos are you can always come back and reprogram yourself to live the life that you want to live. OMG this video came at the right time!On 23rd Dec it was my last working day n I was dropping sweets to my colleagues from different departments and then one of my bosses saw me and I wished him good morning and he just flipped at me about an email that I had sent him to remind him to sign some paperwork so that he could get approval. You have to think that this is happening in the morning at 7.30am and it’s Christmas week.I was shook and I felt very sad.He spoiled the happiness.I was still feeling very upset this whole week because I never expected this.Thank you for making this video as it came at the right moment.

This is very helpful. I have a friend who has become really toxic all of a sudden. I never noticed it before she drains me out. She's selfish and arrogant expects me to drop everything and do stuff for her. I'm trying to keep my distance 😢

8:37 The art of non-reaction is powerfully beautiful. It takes time, but after exhausting All'ah, other avenues, you just give up aNd let stuff come at you aNd you learn to brush it off aNd go oNN. Then, it will extinguish on it's own & you learn how crazy that All'ah 'long you weren't...
