Was it? I’ve stayed away from all spoiler things and all info leading up to the game. Was it hyped like cyberpunk or no man’s sky? Perhaps a different level of being hyped.
I like how much more this game encourages going out at night as the best stuff becomes more available when you're out in the dark, things like the stores and dark zones feel really neat as they're basically night time zones during the day
great video, thank you, here is some extra tips/advice: don't avoid howlers they drop the rarer crafting materials we need, you can throw knives at them to stop them from screaming and/or you can sneak up on them and snap their necks (along as their level is equal or less than yours). do not add mods to your weapons straight away wait until the weapon is near broken and then add mods, why? because each mod put on increases the weapons durability by 50 so you can reuse your weapon before it breaks forever for real :)
Yes, howlers are absolutely needed later on, this was mostly for people who are just jumping into the game since usually howlers will initiate a chase faster than you can stun them or kill them unless you have a modded weapon. Or even sneak up if you are not at least lvl 2 from my experience since they break the tackle.
@@LastKnownMeal very true indeed, i should of worded it better :), yeah basically do as you said - avoid, until you are level 2+ and can sneak and kill them :) as long as you are equal or higher than there levels you can kill them with a neck snap hehe
Also when talking about the lock picking if you exit out of the lock picking if you feel like your lock pick is going to break it resets the lock pick when you re-enter so you don't lose the lock pick right away
The fun way to play this is to immediately upgrade all your blueprints to the max. I got one of the best weapons from the store I could find. I threw on three maxed out weapon modifications and Marco didn't know what hit him, he was destroyed in one hit.
Also really the only time you need to worry about the daytime night time cycle for going into the buildings that you can loot but have to wait for night for the dark hallows If you're playing on easy through medium difficulty it's a cake walk It's really not that bad It looks intimidating because there's a lot of zombies in there but if you go and loot a level like five weapon and you're going into a level three building you will completely eliminate every zombie in there really easy and it becomes a breeze A screen rant style Ryan George would say barely an inconvenience
Can't say I like the addition of armor too much, but I guess it does allow more of a build rather than how in DL1 you didn't get that until your legend levels. Great video as always LKM
Thanks for watching! Yeah, armor slots now allow for a little bit more customization if anything to really shape the character how you want. Drops can be random though and all over the place.
Certain immunity boosters that you get Early on in the game heal you in one press of the x button or whatever your button is to use the immunity booster so my recommendation is wait till you have only a few seconds left before you turn then press the x button to get your immunity booster up and you'll have a whole refresh set of time so it makes traveling at night and everything else so much easier so I would always just wait until I heard my immunity start to beep to tell me I'm about to turn press the x and then you get a full reboot of your immunity
A correction in your video do not mod your weapon as soon as you get it at 4 minutes and 35 seconds into the video because if you do then you miss the chance to repair your item because when you mod your item you repair it
For vault kick, you don't need to run at all. Just find your enemy, jump from the standing position and press whatever button it is for you to activate your vault kick, and there you go.
Yeah but you will be pretty good in the beginning, only later on these buildings are filled up more. But if you don't have a modded weapon, then it's a problem either way.
Good stuff. One thing I've not been able to confirm - I'm playing on hard, when stealthing around sleepers do zombies notice the flashlight? There have been occasions where they seem to, and others where they don't, so I'm not certain.
Thanks for watching! Tbh, I am still not sure myself. I also had similar moments where same type zombies reacted differently. That can either be a random thing they implemented into AI, or maybe proximity somehow affects it, maybe too bright light makes them react, or it might as well be a bug.
Lol I actually never used the blue mushrooms everyone's talking about the blue mushrooms I never once used them I always only used the immunity boosters because you just wait until like I said there's like 30 seconds left in your immunity you use the immunity booster and you have a full gauge of immunity instead of using the blue UV mushrooms and only getting partial immunity back
Best tips just listen There's two skills that go against each other The wall jump The enemy jump And the double wall jump all can be used without having to unlock it Simply unlock the grapple move And unlock the double jump After that Look for a directions you want to jump in wait till a zombie come towards you push them in the direction you want to go when they stumble you can run towards them impress the jump button twice this will activate the Run and also activate the double jump off of their back which will increase your height three times the amount way higher and basically the same height as the double wall jump so just unlock them to skills and from there you literally can get all three of them other skills taken care of whatever you do do not unlock the grapple throw cuz obviously you can't jump off of their back if they're laying on the ground as far as exploits go don't worry about watching videos for them simply just play the game and find your own exploits for example I found a vial exploit Farm I found a volatile exploit forum and I've found a respawning health farm so another words just play the game and try to find your own exploits which you can do by simply trying to find a workaround what you need in the game inhabitants are probably the only thing I can't tell you how to form but that's common sense
Buy the dash and it's upgraded version before you ever think about double jump and it's mostly useless bs because you have to jump over something for it to activate i really wish I could reset my skill points
You can repar your weapons at craft masters. It costs a littel bit more but if you have a weapon that you realy want to keep most of them ar reparebol.
Is anyone else having this weird problem where they need to close there app like almost every checkpoint. For example someone tells me to go some where , I’m at the location but then I can’t open the door I close my app then I run back to the house and I’m able to open the door? Please if anyone know how to fix this let me know it’s ruining the game for me. I’m on ps5 btw.
Help please. In the beginning you have to jump from one ladder to another on the way to the antenna. How do you do that. I use the jump button and nothing happens. I hold the jump button and nothing happens. Anybody? Thanks.
When you jump the first platform, you have to turn around right? Not sure what you are referring to, but if I remember I just jump on first platform, turn around, Aiden pulls out his arm and the just jump on it
Man I can’t play this idk steam won’t let me launch the game I try everything back up files I deleted the game and installed again idk what else to do I got one day off tomorrow and that’s all I wanna do play this game😓

Idk what game you are playing sir, but dl2 is one of the best games released so far in the last years, way better than call of duty, fortnite and all that bs😂
@@wolfmaster1447 I'll give you that it's way better than those... Doesn't change the fact it's really a 6/10 game that ripped everything it does off in a less than spectacular way.
I have mixed feelings about Dying Light 2. The fact you can just die from not being in light now and that there are no guns is super annoying and kinda stupid.
Okay so? I’m a few hours in and now I know certain things that are cool and didn’t know like how when your close to an inhiberator or whatever it’s called your biomaker starts to tell you how far you are from it like that’s not in the tutorial. So no , not “100%” if you’re not gonna say thanks for thanks for reminding me of certain things or leave a positive note then seriously don’t say anything at all bro
Some games have the choice of 1st or 3rd. I can't do 1st person because I get motion sickness. Shame because I really was thinking about buying it.. sigh
The game crashes so much, it's ridiculous. The audio breaks every once and a while, they cut sooooo much content out of the game (harpoon, many missions and choices), and the co-op is so crashy and disconnects too much to experience. Overall, the gameplay is fun, but the story is still trash.

Fyi if you’re doing a “Hard” play through, night.. day.. it’s still hard. Buildings are just less empty & you’re screwed either way.

Specials will, and Virals will. Won't wake up biters, but it will prevent the wake up "meter" from going down on biters
The flashlight will wake the zombies but as long as u DONT point the flashlight on the zombie then if will not wake up

Yeah it was added after the third community update, during this review it wasn't available.
You can rush howlers. Just run at them and start swinging, they die before they can scream.
