The new Spongebot Steelpants is honestly kinda terrifying
Vitessa Lyfe the way he did his KAH-RAH-TAE attack made it more terrifying because his eyes shrunk during the attack. That did not happen in the original game
The Kah-Rah-Tae was still terrifying enough in the original. One of my earliest cussing memories, bursting out "fuck" and jumping back. I didn't notice the narrowed eyes until now, but the open, waggling mouth adds to it, too.

@@Examinedcat669 You have to remember that even though its fanbase is huge this game's target audience is still children. Its been 17 years since the original came out so they probably had to tone a few things down difficultly wise. Not saying i agree but I'm not surprised it happened.

@@duelistemissary7680 Nope. It was only Robot Squidward who was confirmed for multiplayer, I don't recall hearing anything about all the unused bosses in multiplayer.

Gotta appreciate how they kept voice clips at a good level in the original. Often its a problem in liscensed games.

they said they would add back unused content that was in the original game but they forgot to add in the unused fight from the original game that was impossible to beat becuase it wasnt finished and deflating his arms did nothing

They need to fix the bug of the announcer only repeating the same 2 or three lines over and over. In the original, the announcer didn't always poke his head out when the robot stalled. And when he did talk, he said a different line than he did previously.
They will probably update it

I kind of wish they kept the animation of Spongebot slapping itself in the face as it was put out of commission and fixed the bug of the Kah-Rah-Tae! attack when it does it again, it doesn't have any sound. This is a good remake but I wish it had some more of the original's elements not taken out.
I actually like the remake of the video front from your other video as much as I like the this one good job redesigning the eyes

This is very nostalgic. I used to play this game in PS 2
While the game's quality looks great....there's some animations and details that really miss the mark.
*During the knockout segments if you damage the boss while it's frozen in its chop pause, SpongeBot actually recoils and smacks himself out-cold in the original. Hitting the weakpoints outside of that state results in his normal pain animation before being inactive.
*How did SpongeBob end up with his back stuck against the robot's forehead without even turning around when it fell on him?
*They STILL relied on optical illusions to make the robot "grow in size".
*Where did the fish announcer go while inside the robot's head....?
*SpongeBot just PUSHES on its own head....how come it wasn't actively palming/slapping on it just to force the original SpongeBob and Robot Plankton out?
*SpongeBot....just falls over....without any of the animation flair from the OG game.
*Plankton's final laugh looked a little better in the OG version where it has a more giddy charm to it, even though he's supposed to be evil of course.
Yeah I honestly don't think they payed as much attention to detail as I would have liked
The original game has a kind of "edge" to it, too, that the remake just doesn't really have. While the remake is very colorful, sometimes it feels like they threw out the original game's charm for this more kid friendly one.
I just really hate how they made this game too easy. It takes all the fun out of it. Is there anyway to increase the difficulty so it’s more like the original?
I mean i understand the primary audience is for kids n all but even when I was a kid when the original came out it was somewhat difficult which is part of what made it so enjoyable. I really love the new graphics but I really hate how they made this newer version easier than what it needed to be. 😕

I know this game was intended for the younger audience but geez does he have to alert EVERYTIME the robot is weak? He should’ve stopped after the first 3, then said regular dialogue, THEN say that the match is about over on the last hit not the second to last.

Is Everyone Supposed To Sing The SpongeBob Squarepants Theme Song In The Secret Ending With 100 Spatulas, Or Is It Now The Theme From Bikini Bottom/Sand Mountain With Being 77 To 100 Spatulas?
Unlike the original game's 100% ending, it plays the opening from the show. The original used a budget version, but since this one uses the music from the show, he edited out the theme of the show for the Bikini Bottom theme from the game. Also, this doesn't play in the 77 spatula ending, only the 100% ending, which has been edited in this video as previously mentioned

Hey was anyone having issues with boss fights? I went back to replay one and when i do i appear at the stage and no boss. I best the game and got remaining spatulas and unlocked the reef after doing so i went back and well, no boss or anything its really bizzare

I beat this boss fight and went straight to the credits and I accidentally skipped the credits so I went back to this boss fight, so I can get back to the credits and he was already defeated so now I don't know what to do?

I went back to see if I could play robo Patrick again, and the boss was there, but I couldn't attack him he wasn't doing anything and he just kept staring at me and there's no boss music.

I do like how they show where chucks attack will land. Playing the original that’s always something I hated. Something that I don’t like is the audio, both with spongebob and background noises. I have played the original so manny times that slight changes with sound and gameplay may confuse me, but oh well, can’t wait to play

All i did is go to the ground and spam rockets at both Robo-plankton & SpongeBot xD
And apparently Robo-Plankton glitched out in the final phase cuz he was just standing ontop of some sphere inside SpongeBot’s brain which kinda made it easier
It would be great if they added the unused SpongeBob Buff-Pants boss as another phase or inside the multiplayer mode. Plus, buff Robot Plankton. He is slower then the original.
