Overflowing Milk Frother Fix

  • I like to fill my frother higher than the max level indicated inside the frother - I find the maximum amount indicated makes for a pretty’s small latte. Many milk frothers will overflow if they are filled above the max level. This is caused by the air inside the frother expanding as the frother heads up and pushes the milk out the edges of the top. Drilling a small hole in the center of the plastic top allows the air out so it does not cause the milk to overflow.

That is crazy that they didn't design this the proper way to stop over flowing!, you sir are smarter then the designers!!! Love the gentle kitty sound in the background!! :::)))

You've been using it wrong! Max line is if you take the spring off of the whisk so it gently whisks to make latte/ flat white (silky milk) and with the whisk spring attached you use min level for cappuccino for more frothy milk.

Mine is making too much foam. So are you saying that you can remove the round spring piece completely and you will not get any foam or just a little?

This absolutely fixed it for me. Why isn’t there a tiny hole in the lid like my spice grinder? Great work! Thank you!

    Thanks.
Suggestion… your recording volume is very low. I had to shut off my tv to hear you. I have my iPhone volume at full too.
