Victim of gun violence here, I can honestly say I didn't know what happened to me at that moment because it was so instant. I took a graze right on the neck, and didn't start breaking down until I got home and saw it for myself in the mirror. Like Meg said, you pretty much can't feel anything when your adrenaline is rushing through you, but you're not completely numb... Your life can literally flash before your eyes. It was so quick and just realizing how sudden my life could have been over, was even scarier than being shot in the first place. God is definitely the greatest, and I feel blessed to still be alive.💯 Just from personal, raw and hood experience.
I appreciate that, you are not a victim, you are a survivor 💪❤️ meg said she was shot, not grazed and in both feet. That is an extremely serious injury, not saying yours wasnt but for a bullet to enter the flesh, tendons, etc. Bearing weight on the wound* would have been so excruciatingly painful, adrenaline would not have been able to mask that. I was shot in my foot through a boot and my foot will never recover 100%. The feet are so complicated. She was twerking on those feet a few days later...I just 🧐 I hate to say that but it just isn't mathing...
Are you gonna say something else about her situation or use it to truama dump cuz you started off like you had something inspiring or how you believe her but seems as if you used ths opportunity for yourself.
