Before I lose my shit and complete rip Erica apart, I'm gonna point out that Coi is league ahead of Erica in terms of artistic ability. Erica out her acting like she's "one of the better ones" when the girls sounds like evry other female in the game right now. Coi does have several songs out that sound like generic female rapper twerk bops but she also has softer songs like Aye Yai Yai and Anxiety. I ain't heard many of these new girls releasing meaningful softer songs. I'm not saying all female rappers have to sing but when they show case their ability to do so, it puts them in a higher tier than the others because they have demonstrated versatility.
Nicki gives features to people she respects and she thinks have potential. Nicki saw the potential in Coi, that no else saw, similar to how Wayne saw talent in her, when nobody else did. Coi has never shaded Nicki or kissed her ass excessively, she has shown genuine love that is not over-the-top. Coi has also said multiple times that she takes pride in writing and is always trying to better herself as an artist. Coi has even said she is going to start vocal lessons just so she can cross over into other genres and sing. This is one thing I think Nicki noticed. Coi is one of the few mainstream artist out right now that actually cares about the music, cares about the quality, wants to entertain fans with actual talent and is always trying to improve. That is another reason why I think Nicki backed Coi, because we all know how much Nicki values, creativity, pen game and versatility.
Erica is nowhere near Coi's level and needs the shut the fuck up. Like girl, you are not special. You sound literally the same as all the other girls, you are not better than them. NO ONE is entitled to a Nicki feature. She is a legend and she gets to choose who she works with. If she don't work with you, she has a reason. Just because you love her and give her flowers does not mean you will ever get a feature or some form of shoutout. These girls should be happy Nicki is even following them (or used to) and giving them clout in that way. There are asking more than they deserve from her. I get wanting Nicki to respond to you, but that doesn't mean you need to get salty when she doesn't. I have loved Nicki since Sucka Free came out when I was 6. I have always praised her, shown love and even had a minitiature twitter beef with Cardi and Megan in defense of Nicki. Never once have I ever asked anything from her or cried about not getting acknowlegeded. You know why? Because I respect that Nicki is a legend and I respect that she chooses who she acknowledges and I respect her decision to ignore me. I would love for her to shout me out or respond to my tweets, but I'm not going to sit here and cry and start shading her simply because my sensitive ass didn't get acknowledged but other people did. I see her acknowledge other people on twitter but I don't get my feelings hurt because she didn't mention me.
Erica needs to get off her high horse and see where she stands. There are many other girls, more talented than her. There are better ways to get attention than diss the Queen. There are other ways to build a fanbase instead of stealing someone else fans. There are other ways to go about this situation. You could've kept your mouth shut, opinions to yourself and you might have gotten a feature but Erica's immature, sensitive dumbass chose to fuck it up and never get a feature. Erica and Bay Tate and all these other girls are so fucking entitled. Just because you love her doesn't earn you a feature. They have yet to realize that Nicki gets to choose who she works with, because they still think they can force her to work with them. Instead of beefing with a queen, start your own damn career and stop trying to get famous off Nicki. Talking about how good you are but some of these girls have no discography to show for it.
Girls like BIA, Coi Leray, Doja Cat, Iggy Azalea and Ashnikko are more likely to get features because they respect Nicki, they show her love and stay loyal and they don't shade her when she ignores them. These girls need to learn to respect Nicki the way they respect Beyonce and Rihanna. You don't see these girls asking Beyonce for a feature and dissing her when she ignores them. They don't even ask because they know she won't respond unless her really really respects them or appreciates their talent. Nicki is on that same level. She is an icon. She gets to choose who she works with and she gets to choose who she acknowledges. For some reason, these new girls don't respect that. They think they deserve a feature from her simply because they are females. You don't see male artist doing this to Nicki and it's because the male artist show more love and respect than the females.
