I just got this and did the initial setup. I definitely have better signal to the wifi I'm trying to use. But I can't connect. It's a network that uses a web page to login. Never had this issue before with my internal wifi adapter

it only goes 1.2 Gbps on 5ghz band

How do u use ur phone as a hot spot?
@@immano8089 what do you have? you dont need hotspot either you can just plud it to your computer and run it direct then there called teathering.
I'm not a professional, but I don't think so because the attena is used to receive WiFi signal, and hotspot are cellular data from your phone
