- Hey everyone this was a fun adventure for sure and a surprise to find multiple hemi racecars in the trees which one of them is a rare nichols chassis nascar. Plus we got to take home 2 of them 😁
I don’t know what we need to do, but we more video from Chris. He’s just living the best life. Finding lost molars and rebuilding. This channel is ten times better than the other junk out there on RUclips.
Molars 🦷 🤣🤣
😂
Agreed!
Let the adds play if u like the content, support
I love the raw not overproduced videos.
Just imagine all the footage he lost when his hard drive crashed!
My goodness old garage like that reminds me of a different time and era of our country all together. Thanks for sharing your time with me and my family Mr. Birdsong.
We know the hemi cars are near priceless, but those NOS hemi engines on the stands are worth their weight in gold.
And they weigh a lot
Yeah the guy is a millionnair when he would sell it al
Chris u need to get the 1968 & 69 Charger's but Im sure I didn't have to say it lol
I had a 67 GTX Belvedere red and white interior with a 440 and a 4 speed in it. Was a pleasure to work on it. Friday afternoon if come in at 4 o'clock and I didn't even care. Usually I fly off the the handle on top of the days work but for that one I didn't say a word.
Man **** can't wait to find old charger to build***Awesome *** dude*** hunting for one is just as fun!!!!!!! When I do,*** I'm calling Mr. Chris first!!!!!!
This is going to be the longest wait between videos. Love the old MOPAR stock cars.
Man there's some cool stuff there! Love the old stock car race cars. Would love to see all of them out and loved again.
Totally diggin that the owner is still alive, and can tell the stories behind.
I drive a 1980 Delta 88 but I sure like them Mopars too. May God protect and we save those good ol Yanks
You have created a new thing, forest finds. Looking forward to part 2.
WOW THAT’S AWESOME HEMI COLLECTING!!!
Love the Dodge Magnum race car!
I need me a trunk and left rear quarter panel for mine that my brother bought brand new in 1978
Can’t wait to see part 2. Really good stuff here!
Chris please make more videos like this. I love seeing old race car stuff mostly drag racing, but circle track stuff is just as cool
Hey Chris thank you for the video but it's sad to see all those beautiful cars in the woods they are dying out there
Pretty awesome stuff you found. Hopefully some of it gets rescued and becomes usable again. Or even if it’s just fixed up and displayed.
Hell yeah Chris,
I used to have a 70 SE like the one in the field 383 Magnum Hurst pistol grip, AC, front disk and center console of course it had the tick tock
That ford truck is awesome
As always another great video absolutely love your channel you amazing work. Thanks for bringing us along in your adventures it's always fun thank you.
Awesome can’t wait for future updates, watching from Australia in disbelief, chargers are hard to come by in oz so to see this is unbelievable 👍
Such pretty motor lines for the shop. Pick one🤪😉
Love this blast from the past! Save em all if you can, pls!
living the dream...rock on brotha...
Nice finds and COOL place!
Thanks for sharing as always doesn't get any cooler than that
That was cool. Those guys have worked hard and played hard.
They've been sitting at least 2 weeks. Lol Pretty cool seeing all those pics and those old race cars. 👍
I agree 100% with Chris about the pre 1990's NASCAR cars. It all went to shit after that.
Sacré nouvelle aventure 👍 Vivement la suite.
Raiders of the Lost Arc stuff here! Luckily there are no guys with blow darts waiting in the bushes for you ;)
Happy that he was able to survive the wreck
Your dad would have loved this trip.
🦅🇺🇸💪😁👍 great video as always thank you
awesome video can't wait to see video 2. ✌️
Your channel is really great, thank you!
Man he has some cool stuff!
Very anxious to see what you can liberate !
Gee! I thought a friend of mine had the roughest resting place for old iron in the world! he had over 700 cars put to a resting place that turned into a forrest. He never ever let anyone rescue any car for fourty years until the goverment forced him to clean it all up. As a gag I own a front half a body shell at home: No engine, no rockers no floors and no rear. To much stuff went to the crusher. I tried to rescue one or two of his cars since 1978. Not a chance in hell. Turned out that my offer in the late Seventies was better than what he got thirty years later. Cars do not improve sitting like that for decades. But those cars here are even harder to reach. The trees on our place were much older and higher. So the crawling was a bit less harsh.
But the cars here have more sheet metal left due to a drier climate maybe.
Very cool! Not too far from my town in SK.
That’s some cool stuff!
Ooh ! That Magnum bodied Cup car is cool
Chris, all those race cars and the outside charger are all “buildable” to a fabricator like you! Bring ‘em home!
Great video
Living in Las Vegas I am surprised I never saw you running around town in one your Chargers. If you saw me running around town in my 35-year old lifted square body crew cab you would notice it right away. You should bring one of your Chargers to Art Goldstrum's car show in October. I am there every year.
Can't wait for the next Video super cool 😎
Dam Chris a lot of history in that jungle
I would rather have the Ford Truck over anything else in the museum
Thanks so much for sharing that. Great to see vintage nascar when the cars skin was what was being driven on the streets and you did not need to be a millionaire to compete. Bitchin!!!!
So good to see some content
That race-prepped 78 Magnum kicks ass.Ive owned 2 one was a triple black console car with the E 58 engine. My all time favorite car, would own it today but a thunderstorm and a set of bias play tires on the front brought her to an end.I miss that car more than my wife(now ex for a long time)of those days.Breaks my heart to remember the Magnum and the idiot mistake I made that destroyed her.
That 69 sitting there in the field needs to be rescued!!
Too cool 👍👍🇨🇱
I'd love to walk and talk in there till he couldn't tell another story. Wow, so much history in that room.
Got swamps in Vegas right now!!! Hope everyone is safe..
Cool stuff! Hope you weren't impacted by the flash flooding in Nevada. :)
Huh I worked in Stanley ND oh about 10 years ago in the oil field I used to drive through Berthold all the time ( I lived in minot) never would have guessed all this is there incredible
So cool so many awesome car's, should have a chainsaw lol, even the old truck's are awesome could save some or sell parts off them , cool find, and his collection is really awesome 👍🏽👍🏻 thanks 🤙🏼
There are quite a few farm shops that hide collection's like that in North Dakota
Wow love the 66 got 1 myself to make in to a race car
The true “blue 42” mr. Puddin😉
Yeah man, all of the race cars should be on display next to his workshop, history right there 😁
Others should be on tarmac yard etc, some must be road cars or parts cars just sitting there rusting 😔
Man the Plymouth Rapid Transit system is alive and well in that place WOW!!
Awesome
I would love to find and old racecar and bring it home!!!
Looks like Mortske territory 👍
SELL EM STOP LETTING EM ROT!!!!!!
I'm not trying to be a know-it-all but it was actually a winged hemi and it was the smaller one and it was underpowered and it was the only one on the track was the last hemi-powered NASCAR to be on the track did you see the welds in the cages in that guy's gold he had the man's a straight-up legend I don't care what anybody says with the cars he's got can never be duplicated what a blessing my dad said that 42 car used to blow fire out the pipes that was one bad ass car no doubt about it Eddie Frank great engine builder said that man was one of the best cage fabricators along with everything else under the moon was just so nice with doing it all together with no map I die just to go over there and cut them cars out of there just to hear the stories man's a legend as far as I'm concerned great post
That was a 69 Daytona that raced in the 71 Daytona 500. It was owned by Mario Rossi & driven by Richard Brooks. It was powered by a Keith Black 305 small block from the Trans Am series. The last NASCAR Hemi wing car was raced in 1970. ARCA raced Hemi cars well into the 70’s at Daytona & Talledega. Kyle Petty won the ARCA race at Daytona in a 355 smallblock Magnum.
Living the dream
They're still out there.... 💛
Mopar cars and Ford trucks, my kinda guy
I was assembling my 3rd or 4th car, in 1983. I was just driving for a year or two. Would have to think about it.
Barely caught his profile...He looks like Adam West....but he's definitely BAT MAN!
Gooooooodd Deeeaaaammmm!!
Run through the djungel. CCR 🎶😎
BAD ASS!!!
i know where this is ive been there guy invited me in we were doing concrete on the farm super nice guy totally random this video popped up ive told people about this guys garage i moved back to Wisconsin now but that place is awesome just a steel aircraft style building looks like it has a couple rusty tractors in it from the outside
Fuckin awesome content, watching from New Zealand
That is one hell of a bitching collection. So many hemis in one room The last time I seen that many was when I worked at the engine shop we primarily did mopars I built a lot of them and they are not cheap to build.
Hi Chris - just a small correction - it was done by Ray Nichels Engineering
How long has the charger been sitting there. well long enough for that tree to grow. That’s when you know you’ve got a lot of cool shit
Hey, amigo! Are nyou safe from the flooding???
8:03
Swamps in Vegas? Hell, y'all barely see rain in Vegas, 'cept recently. You okay out there bud? Ain't washing away are ya? haha!
I would buy a tanker full of fuel and ran cross there with a chain saw and those army weed cutters to lay all the cars free
and like you said chris store them infrot by the shop.
First time I ever seen an intake like that was an ( offenhouser ) and it was on a dodge coronet 500
I showed this to a friend who is from ND. He wondered where in ND it was. I said you probably wouldn't tell anyone where it was.
West of Minot.
Ty Chris!
Finally a video upload!.....
Love seeing old junk being pulled out .
At 7:46 I want that yellow truck, or maybe just the RAD, Need Oem form bronco
Fuckin snow did that lol old school car guys are the coolest 😎
Where can I find more on the 83 hemi cup car?
I'd take that white Belvedere sitting at the edge of the woods.
I woulda liked it but it had 426 likes and I didnt wanna ruin that
When you find Hemi cars lurking in the woods, you’ll find a Chris lurking 👀 😂
They have some great noise cancelling mic headsets that are cheap.. truck stops sell them. Sad not to get his priceless audio.
It was all recorded with cell phone, this place was a shock and not aware what we were in for
You're lucky I really like the 61 build because not only would I not watch a fiero video I wouldn't thumbs up it not hating just my opinion
Know that you are going to find one out there in the farm/ woodlands .
Need to convince the owner to sell a few of the jungle cars so he can buy another building to keep the rest from disappearing into the earth
Please tell me your buying something. These cars are so cool
Lonetree is not the correct name for that town, ya think ? also there are more cars i think 15 in that row and that many more in another row not taken over by trees
