I don't think he has the stats to qualify him for the NFL HOF. No pro bowls, for one. Unfortunately, there are no stats for being super clutch, an awesome teammate, a locker room leader, and giving 100% in everything that's asked of you. He's, for sure, however, a first-ballot Patriots Hall-of-Famer.
His highlights just make you smile. The will and energy he played with was awesome. Pretty damn talented too, so quick and skilled he was just a beast. As a Pats fan you could always count on him to get extra yards or to make a play when it was needed
Edelman was the slot machine that always paid off dude was a monster on the field he definitely belongs in the hall dude was a qb who never played wr but turned into one of the best slot receiver dude played defense and had like 3 or 4 ints besides playing wr
Man i wish i would have watched football more while he was playing. After i got done playing college football i stopped doing anything that had to do with football. Now that im older and watching these highlights i would have loved watching him man
Love that guy! He was the definition of a football player! He deserved to be in the Hall of Fame! He wasn't that Superstar wide receiver like Randy Moss or Jerry Rice but he was as good as them and maybe tougher. The guy was a machine!
Once upon a time there was a guy who wore #7… and he was a menace not only on the field but… 😂😂😂😂 sike nah I love vick man, but bro Vick was on the some other shit. Even Lamar Jackson isn’t quite the same as mind blowing as he can be. Vick was like a Randy moss kinda euphoric feeling, or Michael Jordan. The only guy on the field was Vick sometimes
There are a lot of receivers who put up gaudy stats, like 10,000 yards. Edelman is a better player than at least half of them. In a world where career statistics wasn’t the be all end all, he’d be a Hall of Famer.
@@shanejones578 Come on man. Tyreek has only played wide receiver for the Chiefs and for Miami Dolphins. Edelman has played a whole lot more than just a wide receiver. GTFOH. SMH.
@@earlputnal9124 sure but tyreek hill is moss-esque in the sense that he’s one of those few and far between non qbs that really change the game, and you gotta do homework on and play different

Who in tf made this video? When did a 10-20 yard reception with no broken tackles or touchdown become a highlight? Especially on a catch where he slides and gives himself up. Dont get me wrong I was a huge fan, just dont think some of these clips should be included.
Haha this was my first video I had ever made, so I was just starting to understand what clips should be included or excluded in my projects! I'm glad people are still watching even my oldest content!
You realise why the " Jewels " got free so often ….. pound for pound , the fittest, strongest and the hungriest player at any time on the field, the guy Punt Returned , Played Defence and Offence in the one game. Hmmmm yeah. We don’t know what position you will play " But You Can Play BALL "
Completely agee! As much as I love Jules, Welker was the better player over all. More talented, and just found ways to get open better. With that being said, Edelman definitely contributed more as a player to the Patriots than Welker did, as well as performed better in the playoffs!
I realize there's still a pretty strong anti-Patriots bias permeating the whole system, so I understand that he probably won't ever sniff the Hall of Fame. It really is a shame. He was special to watch all those years.
I don't think Edelman is HOF worthy. He was awesome on 1 team that used him multiple ways. He plays on virtually any other team & he's average at best…Definitely Ring of Honor for New England, but can't put him with HOF like Tim Brown, Art Monk, Cris Carter, Larry Fitzgerald… I have all them over Edelman

Do You Think Edelman Will Be a Hall of Famer?
Yes he will.
He ain’t a HOFer

@@patriotsplaya7if there is no place for a guy like Edelman in the HoF than fuck the HoF
I don’t think there’s ever been a more versatile player than the squirrel. He deserves the HoF
I didn’t realize just how great he really was til I revisited him. If Tim Duncan played football, his name would be Julian Edelman. Just a winner
edelnut is the man
Troy Brown was Edelman before Edelman!
I didn’t know he played defense too
His highlights just make you smile. The will and energy he played with was awesome. Pretty damn talented too, so quick and skilled he was just a beast. As a Pats fan you could always count on him to get extra yards or to make a play when it was needed
Edelnut is a legend
One of the few players then and now that would spike the ball after a good effort. Love it
Yo that dude REALLY tackled PRIME SHADY MCCOY like that and started talking sh*t to him… I love you Edelman you got that will of fire 😂
The fire all comes from his dad
Different breed, dawg!!
"F#@$&N Red Gloves over here..."
He might not be a HOFer, but Edelman is the embodiment of what a football player should be; guts, grit, and the will to win.
Absolutely loved this dude
One of my favorite players ever!
HOF ... YES ... toughest slot receiver the game will ever see! The definition of clutch.
Absolutely true!

Awesome awesome player. Crazy tough
Very!
Incredelman needs his own spot in the HOF. Amazing what he accomplished, Talk about a clutch player and big play maker, especially for his size.
Completely agree!
Truly awesome.
AWESOME video for an AWESOME player. Incredelman was fun to watch
Gonna miss these guys!

I remember VIVIDLY hearing a commentator saying “Where does Bill Belechick find these players?!”
12:47 greatest block of all time
That block gives me the goosebumps haha
Hall of famer. He balled out when it mattered most; in the playoffs
The fact that Cam got that first down on that pass from Edelman…… no one like him.

10:35 this guy really did a front flip that’s how much his heart was in the game 😂🔥
As a Browns fan I always rooted for Julien because he was from KentSt, Jules was phenomenal player and I hope he gets the HOF nod one day
This guy was a beast 💪😳
These highlights legit tho
3:52 did he get ko'd here? Good googly moogly
Edelman got up like he always does 💪
One thing you got to love about the Pats Offense they didnt mind blocking for their team mates.
Bunch of hard-nosed guys!
Edelman had HELLFIRE Determination!
Was my favorite patriot 🙌🏻 some of these throws from Brady are crazy good, that’s why he’s the goat
I feel like Juilian Eldeman has definitely watched this a few times.
I got to meet his parents on a boat 😮😮😮
I thought the highlights were almost over and there was 15 more mins 😂

So true! I'd be disgusted if Edelman isn't a HOFer
Edelman was such a warrior. Took soo many hits and still managed to get back up.
the Rock that the GOAT could lean on.
3:09 was so smooth lol
Fr! One of my favorite games as well!
Still can’t believe they put him on on d😂😂
If anyone thinks he doesn't deserve to be in the hall of Fame, they're insane!!!
The Squirrel
Probably the ONLY 5'10 wide receiver that belongs in the NFL Hall of Fame just as much as Jerry Rice does. 😢😢😢😢
I really hope he makes it in, with his playoff success there's no reason he shouldn't be in the HOF.
The good news is tyreek hill just might be on his way if he can find himself winning the big game again and staying healthy.

Hall of Fameer
I think Julian Edelman will be there to catch a final pass from Brady when he gets inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. LOL
That would be amazing
Couldn’t think of a better ending for those 2, other than Edelman giving it to Gronk to spike
Class act, no dancin and strutin, just here to play. Not sure who was better, him or Welker

Wait was Edelman playing db to😅
Yep in the 2011 season he played as a DB against the Eagles because the Patriots were under-manned!
I think he kicked a couple field goals or maybe extra points as well

Yeah that’s my boy just casually wrecking shady McCoy like he wasn’t the best RB in football in 2011.
That’s impressive 😎
Brady Brown Edelman Amendola Hogan Moss Gronkowski. The good old days

It’s a great to see Julian Edelman break up a potential pass against the antisemite DeSean Jackson ☺️.
