- This is my walkaround video shoot Liebherr Ltm1400 with 400 tons capacity all terrain mobile crane 1 month before this crane is accident.

I woud be surprised if this can happen without an overload warning to the operator.... if so it could be a defect,raising questions about maintenance,previous operations causing damage and ultimately the quality of the crane as produced and delivered by Liebherr....
Macam tak tahu syarikat kapitalis Malaysia punya cara kerja. Nak jimat kos tapi untung nak maksimum. Kalau boleh bumbung dengan kerusi pengendali kren pun tak ada, bawa berdiri. Potong sana-sini. Belum cerita projek kena "subcon" sampai berlapis. Ada video mana dalam Malaysia, nak angkat jengkaut JCB pakai kren simen 3 gandar Tadano 20 tan, tayar depan dah terangkat sebab barang lagi berat dari kren, akal letak mana entah syarikat macam ini.
Ada toke ingat semua kren ape brg pun boleh lift up berat ringan no hal janji job beres collect money je😂
Patutnya bomm yg no1 dan no2 kecil tu buka berlapis. Bomm yg no3 dan no4 (patah) berlapis. Jadi kuatlah utk angkat beam tu sebab setiap bomm tu berlapis dua..

Are you asking exactly what the superlift is? Of what the specific capacity is while using it? I can tell you the boom configuration isn't correct, it should be either 0/46/46, or 0/50/50, im not sure the exact model this is, i know its a 500 us ton crane, but they changes the pin off points for the boom somewhere along the way.

@@chessplayerelite669 and yes, it does the exact same thing as the mega wing on a gmk7540, I've had the unpleasant experience of being assigned one of those pieces of shit after my ltm1400......the gmk stands for Got a Mechanic Koming!
@@oomcgrathoo I don't doubt that Grove is junk can you go in theq detail a little bit and explain to me why you think that again I'm not a clean operator or an excavating equipment, so anything you say I believe
Definitely not in super lift. But the failure was not side load. The super lift or mega wing is to stabilize the side load of the boom. This was a massive overload of the main boom in the traditional stress direction. Looks like to me the boom configuration played a roll. When you overlap the boom sections they will provide rigidity to the others. I don’t think this would have helped.
Also don’t forget this was a two crane lift and multiple crane lifts are considered critical lifts.
Just because you have two cranes doesn’t mean you can double the lift capacity. Lifts introduce dynamic loading and are absolutely dangerous when not properly engineered

They might of had the computer set with super lift
what caused the incident?
Too much weight on the boom
Wrong boom setup and not using superlift..so main boom can't support the weight of the load..
