Disruption in muscle movement patterns so that muscles contract all at once is called spasticity; this is a factor in many diseases, including multiple sclerosis.

I've been experiencing this throughout my body for seven months. Now I'm on medications and unfortunately diagnosed. Hopefully the medications will work soon. Thanks for the great information. It's really appreciated. Stay safe my friends.

@@romankonewka7540 I had severe spasms from rib cage down through legs. Took double maximum dose of oral baclofen for three years. Now with pump I am down to just 20-30 mg or oral baclofen and spasms are just a fraction of what they were.
As for dr. Bethoux he is a kind, witty and caring man. He takes time with you and genuinely listens and seeks answers for every concern. His staff is just as amazing. Never does an email or call go unanswered.

Been having this issue in my legs, back and hips since birth primary on my right side, it really sucks. Am 24 now and its time for a different strategy than just stretches. Am going to meet my physical neurologic next month and hopefully i can get some meds like baclofen or botox to mild the muscles. Anyway informative and nicely information

Research Gabapentin well and make sure that you discuss the risks and withdrawals thoroughly with your doctor before starting the prescription. Especially take care with this medication if you are under a lot of stress or possess potential for psychological instability.
