Wow, not that many comments. Bill Conti is an AMAZING film composer. One of the many Gods of Olympus. His score to Rocky, For Your Eyes Only & Karate Kid are GREAT works. His score to Masters of The Universe is FANTASTIC, what an epic powerhouse of a score. He is just plain AWESOME.
Agree! He also composed some great themes for TV. One of his greatest being the theme for North & South.
Bill Conti did composed the theme music for shows like Dynasty, Falcon Crest, Cagney & Lacey, The Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and American Gladiators.
HELL YEAH ANOTHER FAN OF MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. That is one of the best scores, one of my favorites nice to see another fellow fan.
TANKTREAD Masters of the Universe Score is my all time favourite. One of my favourite film composers of all time. Absolutely brilliant. Made me childhood magical. Love him.
tony kambouris Now that is awesome. I am a huge fan of Bill Conti. I love his "Rocky" scores, "Karate Kid" scores, "For Your Eyes Only" and of course his epic score to "Masters of the Universe". I have the score on vinyl, cassette and 4 versions of it on CD. My favorite track by far is 'Skeletor Arrives'. Good stuff!
I have always admired the work of Bill Conti. Now, I admire the man, considering what he had to go through in his early life to get to where he is today.
Bill Conti always gives great interviews. I had always wondered what an "arranger" job duties were, noting how some credits include: "Composed, Arranged and Conducted By".
Love Bill Conti. I still have my vinyls for Rocky, F.I.S.T., Five Days from Home, Jarate Kid II The Right Stuff, Rocky II and III. And numerous cassettes of For Your Eyes Only and Karate Kid. Sooooo good.
Things have changed radically. Conti said he had no money and he already had a wife who supports him. Just imagine that situation of commitment and teamwork today.

Very interesting and funny. "You can be a bad composer but you can't be a bad orchestrator." An orchestrator can make a composer.
