Emergency lighting is fantastic. I am not a fan of LED bulbs but I found some LED bulbs like regular looking light bulbs but usb plug in. So can be plugged into a power bank. Also oil lamps Your camp house is beautiful. Just stunning.
I suspect that the weather systems coming through this winter will be a backhanded blessing to you, because you should be able to find any problems with your setup while it’s still relatively straightforward to fix them.

IMO, the woodworking throughout the camp house is AMAZING. The last time I saw anything like it was when I was a tourist in the Bavarian area, and the German and Swiss are rightfully renowned for their woodworking.

I understand not liking the bright white light, but look into some led strip lights that you can change the color on and dim since they use less power and you will have more battery time.
I’m praying that the worst that you get is the cold coming through, and that the cold doesn’t kill anything except plant pests in the high tunnel. Good Lord willing, you will get abundant showers of blessings without any storm damage and your groundwater and ponds will be filled but not flooded.

iv done this my hole life.. d c power is easy to make & do. i dont do it this way but it works for him. im 68 now my cabin is fully dc power on all but my ice box's - frezzer's.. there 120 ac. but its easy to do.. live all dad & night this way. no power bill. thats a lot of my $$'s i did not give them. lol. over 50 years. ask God to help you He will. . I noticed that the hallway is insulated. Was that an outside wall that has the 12 volt light, or have you insulated throughout the camp (which, given the importance of good insulation in dealing with climate extremes, is VERY reasonable)?

This is awesome Danny. One thing that I am a little concerned about is how to pay the taxes when they implement the mark of the beast. Do you have any ideas on that? They will be able to come and take all we have and we will be left out in the cold with nowhere to go. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
Pay attention and try and educate your kids in survival skills. Wood working, electricity, plumbing, mechanics, etc. is the future. The education system these days isn't helping anyone.

@gl779 It came with the light fixture. I looked on Amazon and you can get them in 12 volt.
I found some of the light bulbs that come with a small solar panel also … so it can be charged with solar also
I also bought sum little fans that can be charged with usb and the same solar panels

Good to see. I have an old garage on my property no longer tied to electricity. I’m going to run some 12volt lighting. Keep in simple.
Nice. You can buy some split conduit insulator bushings to put on the end of your conduit without disconnecting the wires.

Interesting,the lights are turned upward enhancing the ceiling, I’d prefer them turned downward with more light where I am walking.

I insulate every interior wall. Houses have hot spots this eliminates that issue.

Single strand is to complicated to run through conduit without certain equipment. The wire is dual 10 gauge wire. Comes in a 500 ft spool.
