I was actually gonna do this on my own RUclips channel, but I had trouble buying obsidian online (it's so expensive and hard to find small cubes). My idea was to put a piece of green paper the size of the inside of the nether portal inside it, then chroma key it out with editing. Recording a short clip in front of a nether portal on Minecraft then putting that behind the chroma keyed part makes it look real.
Could have done one or two things. 1. Add something flammable on it so it does light up 2. Put in front of green screen and pretend you're going through it
For anybody out there using cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue), get some nail polish remover that _contains acetone._ That will unstick your skin if you accidentally stick it together.

What I think would be cool is if you get purple glitter hot glue stick and create a glue lookin purple glitter portal inside the obsidian,I thought that would be so cool as hot glue doesn’t take time to set to cool down to dry,lots of people use it in crafts they come out decent!
Brent! Use Acetone nail polish remover to get the super glue off of your fingers! Then after you wash your hands, use baby oil to remove the glue residue.
Brent you should paint the blocks black and get a purple piece of plastic cut it as small as the inside of the nether portal and glue it there if you manage to get small led lights boom best decoration for your room.

A good idea is to add purple colored resin with a tiny amount of glitter to make it look like it's lit up in the middle

The problem was that it needed to be 4×5 in meters, you should try it again soon when you get big enough blocks.
