With out the Mag drill it would have taken 2 weeks to drill 24 holes. Mag drill is a must! Those 2 drills were probably 5 grand and I thank my friend for letting me borrow them

You'll appreciate it more than a store bought machine. For those that don't have a mag drill, start witha small bit and use gradually bigger bits til you get the desired diameter hole

Looking good. I'd love one of the electromagnetic drills. They can drill sideways, upside down, etc. The hollow bit design really enables fast drilling.

Can't wait to see the end result. Is this a kit build purchased online?

The Hudson HFE 30 was fully built when I picked it up. The smaller models have to be assembled. I put my first log on it last Sunday and that vid will be out tomorrow. All I say it’s addicting when you make your first cut

Nice work Aaron that thing should be nice when finished, I kept waiting for a finger to get mashed when you were lining up all the bolts.

Ya it’s definitely heavy steel. Glad I didn’t smash my hands but if I did it would have been great content. lol thanks Ben
