This Stardew Valley challenge makes the funniest Stardew Valley videos without any funny Stardew Valley mods! Somehow this is the NEW funniest Stardew Valley video / tiktok / short ever! Instead of any other Stardew Valley challenge in Stardew Valley 1.6, this is a Stardew Valley video in Stardew Valley 1.6 in 2024 (almost 2025)!
The goal was to try to inform / speed run / speed runner of Stardew Valley against a killer / assassin but it is me, Stardew Valley from twitch / tiktok / twitter, playing Stardew Valley 1.6 and not Stardew Valley 1.5

Fruit trees don't always drop iridium quality sapplings. It depends on the quality of the fruits the tree is producing
This. The tree needs to have been mature for three years before it will yield iridium fruit/sapling (assuming it was initially planted as a base quality sapling).
The dehydrator doesn't just buff your mushrooms. It also super charges your fruits

@@mertensiam3384 Because year 1 exists, I have to save my ancient fruit to fill the greenhouse first, and once ive done that I have far more kegs than the fruit can satisfy.

Slight addendum for clarity: the sapling quality of a fruit tree will match that of the fruit it produces. The higher quality the sapling, the faster it'll grow
with Fisher, Angler, Artisan, AND the smoker, the fish will be 190% more than it would be normally!

As for the Mushroom Cave, sadly CA fixed the "bug" of it giving Mushrooms daily. It's every other day now. So half the mushrooms (compared to 1.5), but still way better than the fruit cave. What CA needed to do, was buff the fruit cave so that it is more consistent. There've been so many tests done that show that the discrepancy is huge between the actual profits between the two.
No way bro said that the mushroom cave is better. 💀 Dehydrators can be easily crafted and also increase the value of fruit not to mention kegs and preserve jars already doing that. Also they heavily nerfed the mushroom cave this update by making it produce mushroom only every other day. Fruit cave is so much better early game and both caves become pretty obsolete in the later game.

Bait maker DOES work on legendary fish, but since they can only be caught once per player per farm, it's usually a moot point. In co-op farms, you can turn one player's legendary fish into bait to help other players, and if you have the fisher enchantment on a pan then you have a small chance to fish up the legendary fish from that without it counting towards the one you catch with the rod (as long as you haven't caught it with the rod yet). Though this can't be done with the mutant carp since panning spots don't spawn in the sewer. Also cannot be done with crimsonfish if fish caught with the pan follow the same time/weather/season restrictions as using the rod since panning spots only spawn at the beach during the winter night market. Copies of all of them can be obtained using the item ID glitch, though.
I have a two questions that popped into mind.
1. Can you sell the iridium grade quality sapling after you picked it up?
2. I had just started playing the new update on the new meadowlands farm and on one day, my two starter chickens laid 4 eggs instead of two eggs. Is that a bug or a feature with the blue grass?
I wouldn't move the house just yet, because many people reported having their pets vanish after doing so 😢
Only fish smoke high value fish with gold or iridium quality because it uses coal. Catfish, super cucumber, legendaries...
Dehydrator also works with fruits. And you don't to make a lot of them like preserver and kegs to boost hundreds of crops. The one that comes with mushroom cave is enough to dry all the strawberry, build 10 more and you can dry all the blueberries and cranberries.
Bait maker works on legendary fish, at least on the "extended family" legendsry fish.
The first one is somewhat true and false. You want to keep all the high value fish, not all the fish. A fish that you can sell for 500 gold, with smoker, you can sell it for 1000 gold.
The problem is when you smoke something that gives you like 25 gold, then, smoking it, and gives you 50 gold.
You loose money this way, 150 gold in year 1 o 250 gold in 2 year onwards (by the coal). So you want to do it in a fish that give you more than 250 without smoking it.
And the mushroom cave, well, it had a buff, and then had an incredible nerf that made him, more useless than it was at 1.5 (with the mushroom cave at Ginger Island), because you can craft an item as many as you want, that made you random mushrooms from 3 to 5.
It's funny that people keep saying that since fruit trees have been in the game since day 1 and produce way better than the mushroom logs

are you playing on mobile? if it's skill related items, yes.
or to put it simply, recipes that unlocked when you reach certain skill level
You automatically get the new level up rewards but you have to level up still in order to get the mastery items

I somewhat disagree with the fish/fish smoker bit. For starters, you need to get to AT LEAST mine Level 20, though catching a cave jelly there is basically nil chance. To have any sort of chance, you need to fish at Level 100. Also, the recipe is 10,000G and the aforementioned Fishing Level 6 requirement exists as well. So, during the beginning of the game, when you badly need every coin you can squeeze out that is going to determine a lot of things, like how likely you are to finish the CC or Joja Membership by the end of Year 1, you can't be holding onto assets you could be selling. Delaying profits will only hurt you in the end. Also, even if you had a smoker from Day 1, you still need the coal and more importantly, TIME to operate it. It's not too big of a stretch to catch 30+ fish in a day of solid fishing. It takes 50 in-game minutes for a fish smoker to produce a fish. To smoke any reasonable amount of fish in a reasonable time-frame, you would need quite a few of them, and again, Jellies are not a dime-a-dozen. Now, what I WOULD agree with doing, is hanging onto select expensive fish, such as legendaries, Lingcods, Squids, Octopus, and some other fish that are rather expensive, especially Iridium-star fish, but definitely don't be hanging onto smallmouth bass, sardines, anchovies, etc. Just sell those right away; they aren't worth wasting coal over.
EDIT: Money in SDV (and indeed other similar games) works like a snowball on a hill. You start with a tiny little snowball and by the time it gets to the bottom of the hill, it's humongous as it picks up snow on the way down. You start off making a couple hundred a day if you're lucky and by the end of Spring, that might be a couple thousand, and by the end of Fall, you're making 10k a day or more passively, if you know what you're doing. But for this to work, you need to invest your money early-game wisely. Buy things that will increase your profits later, such as crops or animals (and the buildings they need). Once the snowball is rolling down the hill, THEN you can diversify and optimize and improve your current money generators. Smokers fall into this category of improving your money generation. You can fish from the beginning of the game, and it already makes good money from the start. Later on, once you've diversified and got the other moneymakers going, then you can add the smokers one by one to increase profits from fishing when it won't be such a burden.

Fruit cave isn't a good option rly because you can easily get fruit with the old tree things AND because the produce sells for less than the mushroom cave (dehydrator OP) AND because bat cave is inconsistent af.
@@therobbu you cant get spring fruit year 1 though. dehydrator isnt really op, *1.5+25 is good for sure since its basically free, but its not OP in any sense of the word. im not sure what you mean when you say the bat cave is inconsistent, any random number becomes consistent over time.
I would also like to note that 1, saplings are very expensive for the early game, especially if you want lots of them for variety, and 2, in prior versions of the game you got mushrooms from the cave daily but as of 1.6 it's only every other day, halfing the number of mushrooms it produces in a year

There have been many wrong things:
A full grown fruit tree doesn’t give you iridium quality saplings, at least not always, it depends on the quality of the fruit it drops. If your tree stands a few years and is already at gold quality, it will give you a gold quality sapling if destroyed. These saplings just let it grow faster so it’s just for replanting.
The mushroom cave is even more useless now. Yes it has a free dehydrator but it doesn’t change that much. You can easily craft them, there are now logs that can really easily create much mushrooms (use moss ranks around them, that makes them even better), also the mushroom trees exist.

Also, the video has some misinformation. The fruit sapling's quality matches that of the fruit it produces, it's not always iridium.
...and he also called the mushroom cave overpowered, which, I think the definition of overpowered was lost here.
