      @@SlippyLimpets great stuff. I ordered some after I saw the video. They were on my list and I forgot about them because I tend to hibernate over winter 😆. Got two of each delivered today. Very impressed with them. I was worried about the weight but they feel great and know they will cast like bullets. Irish made two so happy to support local. Will see how they are on the west coast of Ireland in a couple of months👍

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  2 года назад

      I was going to say, I'd have been impressed if you'd bought them without seeing them! I still haven't thrown them but think they'll cast well, the tail is pretty dense to should be as good as the ball bearings that most plugs have to aid casting. I also reckon there's no reason not to stick a paddle tail on
      , but that would reduce casting distance. Winter is my favourite time to buy lures, helps keep my psyche up. Let me know how you get on with them.

      Funny you should mention that, I get a load of comments asking "where about, in Cornwall is this area". Sounds like a great session. @@SlippyLimpets Sorry for any unintentional insult angler. Would that be Newcastle then-help me with my geography if you would. What's a patternoster knot?

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  2 года назад

      No worries, it's not the first time I've been asked that. I'm a bit further up the coast at a place near Blyth. The Paternoster is a rig rather than a knot

    I was laughing about your comments on the Met offices 'forecasts', for some reason this year they have been abysmal, is it only our part of the country? The bit of seaweed on their wall must have expired? 🤣

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  2 года назад

      They've been pretty poor where ever I've fished in the country this year, they seem to be able to get the wind predictions just, just not the rain 🤷‍♂️ Tight lines and all the best!🎣👍
