Line 6 HX One - VS - SANSAMP Bass Driver
HTML-код

- In this video I compare the Line 6 HX One to the Classic Sansamp Bass driver. I plug both of them directly into my Interface and capture the raw sound of each pedal. There is zero post production, processing or any thing of that nature in this video.

I’ve played a Sansamp since 97 and let me tell you, there is no way in hell you can tell the difference in a live band setting. I’ve got a PodGo and HX Stomp as well as analog pedals. Line 6 makes it easy to get many classic tones for a great price.
I agree with you there. In a live band setting you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference
The sansamp sounds brilliant but I was planning to buy a hx one anyway so getting a great alternative to the sansamp included without having to go and buy a real one is an all round winner for me!!!
I was surprised how close it sounded, deff a cool pedal.
@@JaredWebbMusic I Doubt anyone could tell the difference in a mix especially live
@@walruspigeon7463 this may be something I’ll test at my next band rehearsal.
Sansamp will have a bigger pallet of sounds and textures with all those dedicated knobs.Great alternative to have it available in digital form if it meets the sonic requirements.
Sounds to me that you can dial in the Sans-Amp sound by tweaking a few more knobs on the HX one.
You said you”tried” to get a similar knob settings
I thought the SansAmp was a bit brighter.
I agree, the Sansamp had a clearer tone all around. Analog beats digital every time!
I have the Helix Stomp here and since yesterday the Sansamp BDII Prog. Helix sound was always great. But the original simply has more balls.
I have one for guitar, but now you got me thinking i need one for bass too.
I’ve had alot of fun with it so far!
Sansamp hands down. Analogue always has more depth
I agree. Analogue wins every time
The HX sounds great until you hear the Sansamp and you’re like….oh damn okay that has the edge.
I totally agree with that!
Can you show all the synths only pls? I would like to know how the tracking of them are on bass, especially with fast licks
What do you mean by “a more digital sound”?
@@KaltOhm so back in the day, cheaper guitar pedals and processors had a digital sound. Basically the tone isn’t as refined as something analog. I’m not saying the HX one sounds like a cheap pedal, just that next to the Sansamp you can tell there is a few small differences. While I’m standing in the same room playing, I can tell a few small sonic differences.
But yeah a digital sound isn’t gonna have the same reaction to your playing as something analog.
I like the v2 of the BDDI
I’ve had this Sansamp for about 12 years. It’s never let me down!
The sans amp sounds a bit more scooped. But both sound great!
Line 6 getting slept on
I’m pretty happy with it so far! Sounds way better than I expected!
Hx sounds great, but "my" sansamp v1 >>>
Sansamp always wins!
