When you said "My new Favorite Place" ... that Drew me in and made me watch your video! My parents live in St James not far from there I'm actually going to see them 4 short days. Can't wait to get back to Merrimack Springs and I agree with you it is absolutely stunning and one of my favorite places on this planet! I can't wait to get back to Missouri! Boy oh boy I sure do miss it!
@@hopefulballistics Thx, Hopeful. I also have a vague memory (I'm 71 and "memory" is mostly a joke) of seeing a video some years ago (also on YT) where the water looked almost clear. Its cloudiness is now enough to discourage me from visiting, but I wondered if it's maybe a seasonal thing...like Spring runoff, or similar?
The wife and I grew up 30 miles south of here. We used to have family reunions here every now and then. It’s a beautiful park. We enjoyed the video.
