Brother Swede👍👍🏕 Well there you go again making most of us jealous with this business of having too much fun in the wild. I think you like to rub it in sometimes, I can see it in that look you give the camera from time to time. Seriously this is another fine example of bushcraft skills, ingenuity and common sense out in the forest wilderness. Never lacking for delicious food, obviously you don't go hungry...ever. The twin opposing lavvu set up was interesting, I can see "sliding" the two halves together if weather turns ugly, unique idea implemented well. No fish...bummer. So much to LIKE: beautiful images, of course; the split and facing lavvu shelter halves with the fire in between; the details about how the wooden cooking racks are constructed and assembled. The ONLY thing that was MISSING was a fresh fish for breakfast!😊

Oh my word!!! Amazing!! What an awesome shelter setup! I love the tennis racket cooker for sure!! The steak looked perfect! You know… I have to admit that the whole time I was thinking “why doesn’t swedwoods have a large BE bushbox with the fire grate top to cook your steak on?”. And then I realized that’s not why people go out and do bushcraft. They bushcraft to make useful things from what mother earth provides in the moment. It was then that I could stop trying to fix and start listening, learning and enjoying. I’m in my car right now taking space from my adult mentally ill daughter. It’s very hard being with her 24/7 and one is always in “fix it” mode when you’re with her. Thank you Swedwoods for this beautiful piece of art! Which is exactly what this is.
