My grandfather loves this car, he has two and all his children have them too. So nostalgic hearing the turbo of that beast. I remember going on rides with my grandfather and constantly asking him to rev the engine.

Wow what great road sense these creatures have.
Teaching a child to walk towards oncoming traffic whilst the adult is curb side.
I've noticed this a lot with British parents the past couple of years, they're getting more and more oblivious. Can't say the rest of the public is any better though

There was a time over 20 years ago when guys on Fast Car and Max Power mags etc were mocking the Starlet as a granny run about..While over in Ireland we were importing them from Japan by the ship load and they were unheard off in the UK ...it was shitbox Novas and Fiestas. The Starlet is a pure weapon.

@@265justy I wouldn't be worried about any of those in a c20let nova, certainly not a vtec eg6 (unless turbo'ed)
@@markburton8303 I would. I had a Mivec Mirage Cyborg and a Pulsar VZR.. 175 HP from factory. Nova ain't no match.... Even with a, 2.0L.
@@265justy C20xe from the factory is 156hp, with twin DCOE45's they are 180 hp. C20let from the factory are 205hp, with a bit more boost 250-300, forged way more than that.

I had a ek9 etc etc, but the most fun i ever had in a car was with my 98 glanza v , all white, white buddy clubs, hks front mount, apexi full exaust, hks dump valve, screamer pipe, actuator, fuel cut defender, apexi boost controler and a apexi ecu . Absolutely mint. I regret ever selling that car and now, in ireland finding a glanza v is like finding hens teeth

Louis Piponnier it’s a TD04 hybrid turbo, what I mean by meshed turbo is that it has no BOV, but it has a Piece of mesh over the inlet of the turbo, that’s how it makes the noise
