A great overview, very helpful, we bought this as our first dishwasher recently and it is absolutely brilliant! It came with Finish tablets and our glasses have never gleamed so much! We mainly use the Eco program overnight. A top rate machine, we’d definitely recommend it!
I bought a Bosch dishwasher in the 80s and it lasted around 30 years. Just bought this model and it’s great at cleaning and so quiet however, the build quality isn’t as good as my old one! Glade to see Bosch haven’t changed their racks! Very good video keep up the good work!

My Bosch dishwasher model starts with SMI, so it has some years on its counter already. Still working like a charm though 😃

Love your positive outlook on your friends floor. 🤣 Tell her to use vinegar next time. Its just as affective and safer. I regularly clean my dishwasher. I cup of baking soda sprinkled inside and run a cycle. When done put a 1 cup measuring cup full of vinegar on the top rack and run cycle. When done dump water inside measuring cup out. Enjoy a sparkling clean dishwasher.

Thank you, nicely presented. Good of you to explain things and how it works. We've just bought one, now in position but not run it yet. Compared to our previous Bosch, I notice that the front base panel isn't inset, sticks out flush with the door front... maybe we'll get used to it, but we keep kicking it at the mo! Do you think I could take it off and maybe replace it with a flatter kick-board panel? (If we need to.)
Most of these dishwashers will allow you to take the panel off if you need to, but just be careful not to damage it in the process

6:24 I just use Lidl's own brand and it works just fine while being considerably cheaper per wash. However the greatest cost of using a dishwasher is always electricity...

I used bleach on my dishwasher without issues. Maybe her bleach had some sort of detergent mixed in instead of being just chlorine and water?
I almost always run my (Miele) dishwasher at its highest temperature (75).

I have a question for you, which I hope you can help me with.
First from my previous job I have learned that the FD number written inside Bosch and Siemens appliances reveals the date of its “birth”. So if it says 0416, it means that it was produced in the factory April 2016. Last week (June 2023) I bought a completely new Bosch Series 4 machine with FD numbers: 0304. Does it really means that my total new machine which I bought for 900 Euros is produced 19 years ago?
Btw., it’s a SMS4HVW33E/38, if that’s any help
Any idea when Bosch will launch their newest dishwashers? They've had them in America since last year, but they haven't launched here yet. :/

It normally fits at the bottom of the dishwasher to stop bits going underneath
Just bought 6 series freestanding Bosch dishwasher and it’s not beeping/alerting when a cycle finishes and wanted to know how to change this so it does using dishwasher and not home connect?
Hi there is a symbol on the control panel of my dishwasher that has came up a couple of times now,I was hoping you would have spoken about it I can't see what this symbol is for,it sits beside the symbol for the water supply display,any information would be a big help as I have searched everywhere and can't find it,it's the same dishwasher you are with here thanks in advance 😊
We've just got this machine and don't understand the installation instructions for the piece of seal that is provided separately. Do I really have to figure out how to take the lid up to install it? Can I get away without it
You don't have to install it, it is designed to clip to the front at the bottom of the dishwasher to stop a gap at the front. I shouldn't worry about it.
