This looks like a great campground lots of space between sites. Love how you show and tell the site numbers it gives us such a great idea if we ever wanted to stay. The river sites look great what a beautiful area. It would be neat watching the fighter jets just dont know if I would want to hear them often. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the feedback! We were quite surprised when the first jet flew over on the first morning. It was completely unexpected... the campground was nice and we will soon be releasing a regular video about this area - there is some really cool stuff around here. Tons of campgrounds like this heading up the road, i'd guess more than a half dozen. Thanks again for the support and we look forward to your next video too!
Thanks for the tour. I would have loved to been able to see each of the sites a lot better to help me pick out which site I’d like to stay at. How are the roads driving out to the campgrounds? I’ve only been towing my 35ft 5th wheel for a few months and was wondering if the highway going to the campground is easily driven. Thx
Thanks for the comment, we appreciate that. With these 360 degree videos we find it best if you can view it on a 4k device - TV or even a larger tablet that has high resolution, and then make sure that youtube is set for the 4k feed (sometimes it adjusts downward for reasons unknown - maybe bandwidth estimations or something like that). If you can do this the video will display a lot better. In terms of the roads, they are narrow going up, but we pulled our 30ft bumper pull up which probably has about the same overall length as your 5th wheel and it was okay. The campground roads are a bit narrow but you should be okay, it was not difficult. Safe travels to you and thanks again for commenting!
We liked it but it is a bit rundown, for us thats fine as we boondock more often than we stay in campgrounds so we dont need a lot of amenities. The spots against the river are nice but they were pretty exposed without much privacy. Note also the jets flying over may bother some people but that will affect every campground in the area. This campground would end up in the upper middle of our rating system. We do really like the area in general. Thanks for asking!
@@bobanddangsjourney I'm thinking of renting an RV this year and plan on buying one. So this was a campground I considered to go to in April or so. Others would be Tuttle Creek or Lone Pine Creek. I think I would start off with a class C RV. That trailer you have seems to have been difficult to maneuver up those canyon roads. You were so close to the rocks.
@@luperamos7307 that sounds like a good plan, you can get a class c that is compact and easier to fit in smaller places. We have stayed at both tuttle (did not do a 360) and fairview. They are both great areas but note tuttle has fewer amenities but is also a lot less expensive. Best of luck in your camping!
i was there 3 months ago and stayed at site 9. At the time the water was raging from the melt off. It was so loud you can barely have a normal conversation lol. Other then that it was a nice campground. oh, and we did see fighter jets fly over us
Thanks for the comment. Yes we were pretty surprised the first morning when the jets flew over - we were not expecting that! This video was probably taken close to the time you were there :)
We use the fat gecko triple: amzn.to/3t40aOv. Disclaimer - That's an associate link so we get a commission if you buy from that - I don't seem to be able to generate normal links anymore.... Anyhow we really like it - it's expensive but I don't like the idea of putting expensive camera gear on something that may fall off. We have used this in hot and cold/wintery weather even with some snow and its been rock solid. Having 3 suction cups is extra insurance. Thanks for the comment!
@@geraldandbrandy Great, I think you will like it - we were impressed with it. We have used it even for off-roading and it has been super solid. Thanks again for the comment, and let us know after you have used it for a while what you think!
Great tour of the area, such a nice area. Thumbs up 👍. Cheers🙂
Thanks Joe, we really appreciate you watching and commenting. Safe travels!
@@bobanddangsjourney , you bet, my pleasure, Cheers 🙂

@@bobanddangsjourney thank you. I will be sure to check this out in my tv. This is extremely helpful seeing the sites.
I like the virtual tour. I think it’d be nice to be by the river.
Yes if we went back we would definitely try one of those sites. There was not much available when we booked it. Thanks for the comment!
What was your overall opinion of this campground? These 360 videos are super helpful btw. Thanks for posting!

Not a campground I'd seek out. Appreciate you letting me "visit."
Thanks for the feedback - glad this was useful to you (one way or the other).
Why?
I do like deserts and forests but this campground is neither…in between…but thank you for reviewing.
What vehicle mount do you use?
