    The
    tomatillo, also known as the Mexican husk tomato, is a plant of the
    nightshade family bearing small, spherical and green or green-purple
    fruit of the same name.
    Tomatillos originated in Mexico and were cultivated in the pre-Columbian
    era

      Thanks guys! since you are so great at answering comments here's another suggestion/request: I know you down teas and talked about tea rituals, but you still (as far as I can tell) have an episode dedicated to the iconic English afternoon tea. Would you ever consider it? As an American dating an English lady it would be pretty cool advice!
      Also my local café has a minty hot chocolate and tea combination that I know you guys would love (especially Ebbers)! Keep up the great work Sortedfood crew and lads, cheers!

    Being a Mexican myself, I was a bit skeptical with the authenticity...but then I realised what a great idea it is!

      +Julian Amrine Many people would say the same with fillet (fil-A or fil-et), can't (kant or kawnt), shallot (sha-lawt or sha-let). All depends where you are in the world. I'm sure you say things "wrong"/different as do I.

    • @Apocalypz
      @Apocalypz 8 лет назад

      +Trebdiel Agreed on the origin, so let us revisit fillet. Why does common French, where the modern word was derived, sound as fil-A but many of the world pronounces it fil-et? Again, it depends where you are in the world. Neither is incorrect even according to multiple dictionaries. Simply saying the point of origin was pronounced a certain way doesn't mean it is unacceptable another way. Wouldn't you agree?
